That kitchen looks ridiculous in comparison to the incredible finishes in the rest of the house. It's hard to say what it should look like since kitchens in that era were modest given that they were only populated with servants but however it should look that isn't it.

Oh my God, this house is seriously taken straight out of my dreams (catholic elements aside)... from the type of decorations to the sequence of the rooms. And that Staircase!! Exactly what I have been dreaming of for years.
This is probably the first time in my life I ever desired to be a multi-millionaire (or possibly more), to invest in an impractical but gorgeously and delightfully historical house that requires an unreasonable number of domestics and maintenance.
