  • Your written recipe says "two cups of flour", which makes a sticky dough. In the video, you say " add "3 cups of flour". We just took our sticky dough out of the oven to add more flour. You may want to change that error.

  • @bamb1954 Two cups is the correct amount, I put in an annotation in the video to bring that error to people's attention some time ago.

  • @yoyomax12 I see. Thanks.

  • my dough is quite dry, no matter what i do. I knead it, but its not as soft as yours or sticky like other recipes. Help!

  • @bayiravimani I've made this a couple of time without issue, it is hard for me do diagnose a problem without seeing what you are doing though. Maybe try another recipe ?

  • @bayiravimani it is most likely the humidity or lack of in the air. that can affect your baking. add flour 1/2 cup at a time until you get the right consistency

  • I made this today using your recipe and it turned out good. I roasted and crushed the almonds prior to adding them into the dough. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

  • can i replace almond extract with something/

  • I will make this soon. Can you freeze these? Thanks. Can you add cranberries or orange zest as well? I love this video. Thank you.

  • Thanks for the lovely recipe. Can you please tell the amount of salt and baking powder used in the recipe? I am not sure about what I heard while watching this video.

  • @rhonda6004 You are welcome!

  • I should have looked at the recipe first. Mine is in the oven with 3 cups of flour. We;ll see how it turns out. I thought it was kind of thick. lol

  • @007380 You were the first one to point out that error, I put two cups and have two cups in the recipe but SAY three, I'm sorry about that.

I have added an annotation to the video to fix that.

  • Hey! Can you walnuts instead? I cannot find any almonds anywhere! would it affect the taste much??? :)

  • @ishtinka9 It will make them taste like walnuts instead, but they should still be quite tasty!

  • love the fast forward action, some videos draaaaag so long for such simple recipes.

I like to add 1/2 cup chocolate chips or cranberry for a change. They are great just the way they are though.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • The more recipe videos I make the shorter they get. I also can't stand recipe videos that show 5 minutes of onion chopping, or 3 minutes of an electric mixer.

    Thanks for the compliment

    Pam

  • It is a tasty treat, thanks Pam.

  • I found the measuring cups a yard sale, or thrift store, I can't remember which.
