  • wspaniałe ale zawze smutne i ponuro dramatyczne.kiedy coś wesołego i miłego zobaczę?

  • me gustaria que el mundo fosse impegnato e proriettato verso l'arte e non affogato nel veleno soprattutto della volgarità

  • what is this song please ?

  • It is "Hain't it funny?" written by Jane Siberry and released by K.D.Lang, published in her record "Drag".

  • I met Pina on Pedro Almodovar's film Talk to Her and I was fascinated. I think that is not only dance...is poetry.

  • magnificent... wspaniałe...

  • Through her incredibly fascinating, innovative and daring creations Pina Bausch will live forever!

    She was amazing!

  • Pina Bausch's untimely death is an undescribable loss. No dance theatre has touched me as deeply as hers. Thank you!

  • June 30, 2009 Pina Bausch died. Pina, you were the best, such an important influence on me and the world of dance. Thank you for all your contributions.

Long live the dances on youtube, at least. I hope the company continues.

  • Jo Ann Endicott said that when a piece has a name at the première, it's always a good sign

she was speaking about Masurca Fogo...

  • i'll have to agree here... it's sad, actually

  • you should read some more about pina bausch.

  • I've read and seen enough.

  • Totally agree. lol.

  • spechless...

  • Saw this in Ottawa a couple of years ago. Literally breathtaking.

  • The singer is KD Lang song "Aint it funny" Pina Bausch choreography is absolutely breathtaking. This piece was also featured in Almodovar film Hable con Ella. Nothing more beautiful.

  • Mazurca de Fogo espectáculo feito em residencia em homenagem a cidade de Lisboa/Portugal no ano de 1998.A bailarina se chama Rute é brasileira de São Paulo, uma das principais da companhia de Pina Bausch

  • The singer sounds like k d lang.

  • out of all of pina´s work...this is one of my favorite pieces. the music, the breathing...it´s all so alluring.

  • lindo!

  • it is just simply mesmerising!!!!

  • Saw Masurca Fogo in Seoul a few years ago. Utterly beautiful.

  • spectacular

  • Does anyone know who the singer is?

  • There's probably a waltz or mazurka in the larger piece, but in the excerpt here, "Intimate Stranges/My Baby's Gone" is a blusy jazz number.

  • Bausch. Her time is my time. The cusp of romanticism. A dancer's exploration of romance via the torch song and the torch singer. That vector in which the woman stands atop a man's shoulders then swoons. A dead weight, but a seductive, glamorous one. Don't neglect the microphone.

  • wow, the solo of the man is really nice!

I like the fact that they used a waltz for this peace; from who is this music?
