There is NO DOUBT that Danica can drive a race car. However, there is steep learning curve when a driver come from open wheel to stock car. If you don't believe me just ask Sam Hornish, Jr or Tony Stewart. I hope she does well but, I'll be pleasantly surprised if she gets a top ten finish this year in NASCAR.

Danica has talent and car control. Her teammates Dale Jr, Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon she drives for Jr/ Hendrick motorsports. Four of the best in nascar. O yeah and jeff gordon use to drive open wheel is that a coincidence or what. She will be a better driver in indycar because of nascar. I Agree with winetree7. If Danica is mediocre, then her teammates Marco Andretti (Son of Michael and grandson of Mario) and Tony Kanaan must be very sub par, because she is bettering them in the series.

There is a long list of so-called top drivers that are not placing in results where she routinely does. She is brand new to this NASCAR style racing and yet is already impressing with far better than expected times.
