Very nice! Keeping traditional music alive! If you ever come to germany, vacation or whatever, it would be a pleasure to meet you and jam around a bit! Greetings from kiel!
You guys just look like you're having a great time playing together. I'm going to make a point of watching the rest of your videos tonight. I agree with the comment below me, it's great to see that not everybody has forgotten about these old tunes. Keep up the good work, guys.
Thank you for doing this song justice and keeping up a American Tradition! Nice to know that some people still are remembering the classics and carrying the torch of our ancestors. Good pickin! P.S. You all are having to much fun! LoL
You guys also inspired me to learn how to play the banjo. Along with a few others here on Youtube. I am a latin guy from California so It might be a bit harder for me to learn one of my favorite tunes and instruments. Hopefully I can play like you guys someday.
Nobody makes music like you two. Love it. Love it. Love it.

Terrific rendition of an old favorite!
What type of banjo are you using? Specifically what type tone ring.
galantek4 11 months ago
@galantek4 Thanks for commenting! The banjo is is a Vega II by Deering. It has the Deering version of a Tubaphone tone ring.

One of my favorites, but I do it in A.
Is that an F chord you throw in, Annie, or is it a C?
bbrad1207 4 years ago
It is usually an "A" song. Mac just started cranking it up in "G" an away we went. That is an "F" chord. Thanks for the comment.
