The NSX doesn't need 300hp to be a monster. I think most people know this, and it goes without saying, but more horsepower isn't always better. An obvious example to this would be a Lotus Exige. The Exige weighs just over a 2000lbs, with only about 220 hp. The NSX weighs about 3000lbs, with roughly 275hp. That's still very good p/w ratio, but I see your point though.
