  • I LOOKED AT DAVE NUNN AND MOST OF IT WAS USELESS

  • That was a very fun and unique way to display the "behind the scenes" photography talent... awesome!

  • ninja hey? fuck him

  • Most of this is useless. Look at Dave Nunn's work instead..

  • fuck the ninja guy

  • A really inspirational vid. Thank you.

  • The BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Your photographs are so beautiful Keep going with your videos, they are Great!

  • "I love photography,I always have. It's the only thing I do well I think."

    I couldn't agree more.

  • wonderfull photos

  • at 1:06 why are they in the middle of the street??

  • Yervant is definitely an inspirational wedding photographer. I've been to his training sessions. Go Yervant.

  • cabrau.com

    StudioCabrau, in Brazil

    iLoved !!!

  • I like how that last guy thinks:) Take photos for yourself and if your clients love what you do, then everybody wins:)

  • What kind of cameras does these guys use? I also want to become a wedding photographer but can anyone help me or give me tips?

  • @BrodyNomad Pentax and olympus

  • @TheSupasimon lol

  • @TheSupasimon Now go buy a olympus but in all seriousness nikon and canon

  • @BrodyNomad full sensor Canon or Nikon..

  • @BrodyNomad

Jeff Ascough, it's a Canon ambasador. It is using a Canon 1DMK4 with L lenses. He like to use available natural lighting .. LOL . Now with a 1DMK4 on ISO 6400 is like my 40D on ISO 1250 so yeah.. he can afford. Don't fall for the small film camera he was using in that church, he is on digital ;) even more, he is one of the best wedding photographers worldwide.

  • @mkoo33: that "small film camera" is probably Leica M8 ..also digital ;)

  • @allodesousa

Probably, however Leica M8 has 2 strips on the outside of the viewfinder, top and bottom and here i couldn't see them.

But again, it can be M8.

  • @mkoo33 When he was shooting Leica it was film. This was up to about 2005-2006 if I remember well. After that Canon made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

  • lol selective color.

  • Photo Repair and Special Photo Effects Fixing Photos.com

  • Wow nice video. My wife and I are wedding photographers in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and we are offering insight to brides and photographers. Thankyou agsin for the videos. Shaun

  • paparazi?

  • Yervant is one annoying turd. Making that poor (but gorgeous) bride do those unnatural "poses". What the crap is that? That Ghionis guys is right up there too but at least he can be amusing.

Love the honest moments captured by some of like David Beckstead and esp. Jeff Ascough!

  • these guys are great!!!!

  • one big name from india is missing.

    MANUJ MAKHIJA

  • Aleksandras Babičius eats these guys alive, if you don't believe me check his website meninenuotrauka(dot)lt

  • awesome!

  • I want to hit the ninja!

  • brilliant jeff A my favourite

  • Great stuff!

  • All these photographers must shoot on program mode, I cant see how any of them would have time to adjust settings

  • Jeff is amazing! But some part of magic are the clients themselves... Plus: Jeff uses bright lenses from leica and canon, so it's easier to work in lowlight situations. Sometimes the hardware determines the avaliable techniques.

  • No impressive at all. I've seen much better shots.

  • To the photographers using a Stoffen Omnibounce on your flash when OUTDOORS: Are you fucking retarded? If you don't have walls or ceiling to bounce off of, the ONLY thing it's doing is eating 2 stops of light, increasing your recycle times, and killing your batteries. It does NOT soften the light if there is nothing to bounce off. The ONLY way to soften light is to ENLARGE the SIZE of the light source relative to the subject. This isn't a matter of opinion, this is established scientific fact.

  • @Orcinus24x5 yervant is one of the best wedding photographers that currently are working and it's not me who say this but it's a fact,i think he knows what he does.and of course i'm going to tell you what that flash will do..it will generate a little white dot in the pupil of the subject's eye, this is a small detail that can change a picture drastically if used properly.and i have to add that the soft diffuser spreads the light way more ...

  • @Orcinus24x5 ...way more then it would without...so there is some light actually getting from the flash to the subject and acting as a "fill-light"

  • Very informative for a newbie like me. I also get some good pointers from thephotographyclinic (.) com

  • Yervant Zanazanian is an amazing Armenian photographer!!!!!

  • Keep worming Asian girls # lushfmlk.info #

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • im planning to do wedding photography, i have great passion for photography. you can gte alot of money for it, but how much?

  • @TheSDavies93 it depends on how good u are O.o

  • @TheSDavies93 i average from 2,500 - 4000 but yes it depends on what you can for the couple.

  • "la mariée au top"..... magnifiques prises de vues !!!

  • I don't like loud controlling photographers.

  • @good2freelance thats how they get the pictures, they get because they tell them what to do. if he told them do whatever you want, he will never get a picture

  • CATHERINE HILL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, KENT, IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND INTRUSIVE PHOTOGRAPHER IN HER GAME. tHOSE WHO EMPLOY AND WORK WITH HER, LIVE TO REGRET IT.

  • There are certain adjustments that need to be made in order to bring the confidence and imagery out of people who feel they are less attractive and naturally progressed a complex of being camera shy.

You need to make them feel like you are family. Let them know that you love your craft and you are there to have fun and passion for their event. This will bring more flare to their images.

    -God bless

  • i would really like to be a wedding photographer, but i cringe at the idea of me losing my memory card or ruining the film i was shooting with and ruining their wedding

  • @mafiaslicka ohh yea im 17 and im planning to do this. but losing ur pic will be devastating

  • Jeff Ascough is a true inspiration when it comes to creating something, that needs patience. One may have perfect lighting conditions in a specific place, but all the action is somewhere else. Then all the fast (and cheap btw) lenses come into play. I love his work.

    Wonderful video.

  • 1:50 - Lol I bet this guy was a Marine once...ot at least thinks he his lol look at the way he looks around with the câmera on the hands.

  • this guy :Master of Photography" thay can do good job with ugly Grooms or fat Bride :) they are the best!!!!!

  • I love the line "We're out there to please ourselves." I agree! I get more satisfaction out of getting the shot then the bride and groom will!

  • Wow. Today I realized THIS is what I want to do.

  • hey jayfromla...what about the bride in front of the art wall...not only with her husband but with her friends also. She is bigger than average to me...

  • Very Nice Work, especially Joe

  • cool

  • love it

  • wedding photography is all about how the photographer interacts with the bride!

  • ninja ,sniper,terminator...wot a dush bag...

  • @musi1714 thats the names people gave him that he developed not invented... it's not like a 13 year old halo freak saying NINJA every time they kill you it's just what they call him

  • @musi1714 lol..

  • @musi1714 This made me laugh so hard! hahahaha

  • thanks for the video guys!

  • Composition is what makes these photos so amazing...

  • What this is song called in 0:19

  • Big Jock funny nothing even close to OK staff!

My 4 years grand son do better.

    David

  • how much do u get 4 doing this????

  • Joe Buissink.... lol

  • Now thats photography loove it

  • "do something that separates you from the rest" i like that alot!

  • These Guys are amazing

  • Is it me or is his pictures blurry?

  • @OnlyGreatness007 I dont think any photos look brilliant on youtube, due to how the video is encoded

  • @OnlyGreatness007 Its youtube... :)

  • Inspiring

  • these are beautiful... i am not a professional at all...i do love taking pictures..and i bought my first dslr , sony brand, camera... does the camera matter in capturing such beautiful pictures besides your personal touch? or will i need an expensive dslr?

  • Great one! :)

  • To the one who said that "these guys suck" you obviously have some jealousy issues. These "guys" are some the best in the world you hack, and you obviously don't understand true creativity. I would like to see your stuff since these guys "suck"

  • Jeff... my idol...

  • MASTERS of wedding photography? Nah...

  • Although these photographer all take BEAUTIFUL photo's... they have so much control over the subjects and it all becomes a big photo shoot and less of a wedding.

  • I love the newness they show in the way they connect with the couples and other subjects. They have really given me great inspiration and new fresh ideas. I particularly like the statement by David Beckstead, "We are not out there to specifically please the bride and groom, we out there to please ourselves."

  • What is the lens that he uses in 1:50 minutes?

  • @kapsico

probably like a 70-200mm zoom lens

  • photographygenius . net

  • They have unique style....and I miss shooting.

  • Excellent work and great video demonstration.

  • THATS IN MELBOURE :D wooottt

  • Question: why do the photographer pointed the flash up at 0:50?? There is no cealing to bounce the light right? the pictures looked great though

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

  • @funniq he got a diffuser on. some light will hit the subject even if it's not pointed directly at the subject

  • Yeah, it's the omni-bounce diffuser. Great for slight fill flash.

  • Interesting

  • Interesting style.

  • Joe Buissink is better than u all so suck it

  • Of course Dennis Reggie would be the bad one. Using a sto-fen outdoors. Everyone else has a clue and thus gets better photos. Too bad about Dennis being a crap factor. He alone takes away a star.

  • very good

  • Guys does anyone know the name of the first song Yervant uses in this clip??

  • @sambomcd Have you found out the name of the song?

  • Looks like you're having a lot of fun with photography

  • Joe scared the s..t on me !:P Joe if you wanna be tough, pump those arms a little bit ! Jk...ur cool man !

  • Jerry is the man !

  • These guys have some amazing style, hard to find this, but they really bring truth to the saying a picture is worth a thousand words. Excellent!

  • Joe Buissink is hitman agent 47 if he took photography as a career instead of killing people.

  • Jeff Ascough seems to be the best one.

  • Yervant is simply annoying..

  • machine gunning and implying control on the couples day. no no NO!

  • I guess that if take 40000 shoots of a moment like Yervant, one of them would be a good picture. The others photographers are simply amazing (specially Jeff Ascough)

  • Completely amazing work. Quite diverse in their methods but they all produce some beautifully captured imagery.

  • stevenstreet483 Those comments are usually made by some who lacks creativity...

  • i love thisss :)

  • Not a single fat or ugly bride/groom in the video. I'd like to see what they do with real people like that.

  • That is funny and true....

  • @jayfromla @1:14 they looked fairly "real", not "fat" but who cares? At the beginning he says he's got a photojournalistic style so they wouldn't "do" much with the ugly people to make them seem pretty. But with that said I doubt those ones go in the portfolio or on their video...

  • I won this 2 DVD set, so I've seen it all, and yes, that bride at 1:14 IS kinda large boned. She just is. That photo went in her album I'm sure.

  • @jayfromla hahaha joe would say ' all brides are beautiful ' so he says to his clients

  • @jayfromla youd focus on their good traits. Obviously if you have an overweight groom or bride you would take a shot of their gut sticking out. It's your job to catch their best side/features not just complain.

  • @jayfromla youd focus on their good traits. Obviously if you have an overweight groom or bride you would take a shot of their gut sticking out. It's your job to catch their best side/features not just complain.

  • What are you talking about? There are lots of "real" people in this video! Skinny and chunky ... and they all look amazing. Instead of focusing on the outside, how about we look at their happy faces instead?

  • @jayfromla I didn't know real people were fat or ugly.

  • I have a Canon 5D and two of the best lenses around, 24-70mm and the 70-200mm "L" series lenses. Also a Canon Speedlite 580EX and Gary Fong Lightsphere. Worked great for me for along time.

  • I love it :)

  • don't worry about the body invest in good prime lenses

    no zoom junk

  • Excellent video! This is the reason I became a photographer, just by looking at the images. Good work!

  • you need to look around more these arent that great..

  • I love photography! All I need to get started with my career is a freakin Canon EOS, but they are so expensive, lol.

  • start of with a film camera you learn more then more on to canon EOS

  • you dont need an expensive camera to get your career going..

  • @sacrichboy no but keep in mind that the picture quality can only be as good as your camera. The bride and groom may not see much of a difference but as a photographer you will

  • @sacrichboy Not really...but you´d better be familiarized with the onet you´ve got...

  • @sacrichboy but u need an expensive lens.

  • @DXm8 You just have to know what to get. For instance I just got a f1.8 lens for $150 and it does great.

  • @sacrichboy the canon 50mm f1.8? got that too and love it :)

  • @DXm8 Yeah thats the one. Its a great lens for the price. Isnt it? :)

  • @sacrichboy Psh, yeah. You need to buy a million photo editing programs...lmao

  • i still waiting when Polish people start thinking like those people, no spending money on vodka, wedding djs, and start thinking of One Best Day in those Live and making photos like that, i'm photographer and all i hear is "moneY" no, photographers are stylist to make your wedding day Best ever and ever emotions photos, thank you

We want create a specify photos for U, 4 Ever :)

  • I got inspired by your video, thanks for posting.

    Michael Provost Photographer

    Picbug

  • thank you for the inspiration

  • this vid was amazing. I love being able to see the different perspective of fellow photographers. Truely helps me to grow in the profession!

  • What type of speed flash is he using?

  • The LCD looks similar to a Nikon but I cant say for sure. Canon or Nikon will flash quickly enough as long as you don't have it set for a half or full power flash. Considering how much available light there was he didnt need more than 1/16 or 1/8 power. Of course you also have to consider camera settings, ISO Shutter Speed and Aperture.
