Sorry to deliver critic.

Been doing this genre for more than 20 yrs and semi professional.

Sails are excellent, BUT

Bow is too high.

Ships hull is too blunt and massive.

Waterhorizon really should be dark and straigtht and the sea itself, please look at the work of Van der Velde, Turner and Pickering.

Sky could have been so much better.

Try to contrast the whiteness of the sails (very well painted BTW) with the darkness of the clouds and sitiuate the light at the foreground.
