I am a yankee who has a deep love of blackfoot and all things Rickey...I was actually excited when someon on there site mentioned this version being better than the new bands live version...I'm sorry to say now way....whomever thought that obviously knows nothing of blackfoot or their heritage....I respect this dude allot for what he does...but this is not even close to what the band is doing now even without Rickey....

@truckdawg43 Hope you're not referring to me as a Yankee! I'm from Southern Arkansas (about 50 miles from Trace Adkins' home.) I am also an ex-professional musician who knows a butcher job of a great song when I hear it! This attempt at *Train Train* is a travesty. It sucks out loud to the nth degree!!! Trace should stick to his own genre and style ((torch & twand country) and not attempt the high ebergy rock stuff. He ain't got it in him!

I like how he did this..it was a tribute but with his own spin..I admire diversity in a musician's performance..now would you believe those words from an old redneck girl from TN..raised on the greats..Blackfoot, Marshall Tucker Band, Molly Hatchet , etc....Trace Adkins changed this up a lil but still kept to the hard core Southern Rock roots...fine performance and even better in person...
