  • @accordracerh22 dude this exhaust with a stock cat and dc sports headers and coldair intake sounds amazing. Cheap but good exhaust system. Sounds really nice. Buy the system its great

    

  • Its pretty mellow and deep, resonates well. Not raspy or lot of high frequencies. I have same. Looks like a damn cannon under the car but hey its nowhere near as irritating or noisy as most. But I's also running DC Sports headers and still has a cat (thanks Cali). At V-Tec, it really howls!

  • love the sound! about to get full megan headers and slant tip, + hf cat put on. already got 2.5 piping and a big ass resonator lol. its probably gonna sound very simillar to this

  • question was the 315.00 when you bought it and also im finding a megan racing (na) exhaust... thats natural asperated right? so am i trying to find a type-2 megan racing then?

  • I got it for 230 off of ebay , its 2.5inch outer diameter 2 3/8 inner stainless piping , thats all i know man. and yeah na stands for natural aspirated.

  • @MorderPreludexxx9 ebay has the megan na type and the type 2 exhaust also a drift spec exhaust.

  • meh, it is a pain to install and i really didn't see a difference , grab a chipped p28 ecu and a obd1 conversion harness for 300 bucks from speed innovations . that made a world of a difference

  • i read those make your car worse because they set our vtec at 5200 for a reason because that is the best place for it to get the most performance

  • reading is for chumps , trust me sir its pops sooner and just as hard thus making it faster then a comprible car with tec at the stock point , i know from experience lol

  • its pretty loud and from MY experience and opinion no it doesnt compare to a BCPS or a skunk 2

  • is the exhaust kinda slanted/angled to the right a little bit when you installed it? also does it sound raspy and buzzing at high RPM (5+) ? because i installed mine and its kinda slanted and it sounds raspy at high RPM. kinda got my hopes up on the megan but i dont wanna loose it yet. my friend and i are gonna reinstall it just to make sure everything is lined up correctly and whatnot. thanks

  • yeah man that slant is called " jdm kick out " its a style thing . and idk about the rasp my 2 step bangs at 4000 sounds fine there , and there's nothing to complain about all the way up too 8200 when accelerating . what car/motor do you have ?

  • the slant thing doesnt bother me that much. but sometimes when i accelerate it makes a raspy sounds and its not as deep as i thought it would turn out. i have a stock 5th gen with a V2 intake. when my car is parked it sound just like your vid but when im driving it it sounds pretty nasty at high RPM

  • idk what to tell ya man , ive got a big tube header to a 2.5 inch collector to 2.5 inch un resonated all the way out the back and i dont have rasp ... make a vid of it and see what people think ...

  • if you look under your car, its the thin piece of metal in between your exhaust pipe and the rest of the car

  • no man don't even worry about it lol it took 30 seconds to bend the heat shield out of the way. so go ahead and buy it. i highly recommend the exhaust. easily one of the best sounding exhausts ive heard for our cars. very deep sounding.

  • i've got the same exhaust and mine seems to be vibrating on the heat shield/subframe. did you have any of these fitment problems?

  • if you check out my latest video youll notice the car currently sounds nothing like it did in the time of this video , i through on some big tube headers and a straight cat delete , so do your research before you buy anything , shes better for it lol but it doesnt sound as good

  • buy a megan catback , do a good * header with a 2.5 inch collector and a cat delete , check out my other video , cars sounds meaner with out the cat , ill get a new one up with the expicit speed headers once the weather warms up

  • headers , a test pipe , and cat back are all bought separately . in this particular video the car has only catback . the other vid has a hollowed cat .. soon ill hav a vid of this same cat back with a test pipe and explicit speed headers .. along with 2 step

  • yea i cant have a loud exhaust, my county is really strict, thats y i went through like 4 diff exhaust and ended up gettin rid of them, except for my ws2.

    dude u should try gettin a Skunk2 MP catback.

    i had that for 4 months and that thing is LOUD as SHIT, and sounds really good

  • thanks man , yup stock cat and headers , sorry but i bought the car with the pulleys . though guys i talked to that have put them on and have a experienced a before and after said theres a small difference , fuk the pulley dude get boosted

  • i don't have any actual dyno results but it is noticeably quicker and torqueeer,also vtec change over is much more joyess lol.
