  • Great capture for a Vid, Reading a place where the Deltics were once utterly unknown. Also a one time Hydraulic Stronghold well done 10 out of 10.

  • Amazing CLAG! Hope 55022 does another mainline outing at some point soon - she's been off for a while now.

  • I've had a good slag through Reading as well! Sorry, clag!

  • Awesome!

  • All 3 of those locomotives are in Rail Simulator!=D The FGW Class 66 commuter train, the FGW Class 43 high speed train, and the Deltic 55 diesel. I wonder if someone will recreate this video and post it as a video response to this one.

  • Sorry. I mean the Class 166 commuter train.

  • Nice video 5*

  • Hardly massive clag for a Deltic is it? Compare it to the departures you've no doubt experienced from York in '80/'81 after standing for over an hour ticking over.

  • indeed ..but massive clag compared to todays current fleet.. ying ying boredom

  • Ying ying boredom indeed. Thats all we hear nowaday along with a cross-section of Cummins enginee - napiers are a real treat!

  • Thats bad clagg lol

  • I was going to go to Reading for a photo, as it was supposed to stop, but judging the speed it was going and the poor light I don't think it would have been much good!

  • I've only ever been to Reading station a couple of times but I never knew the linespeed was so high through the platform!
