I was in a dangerous home environment from birth to about 7 and a half years old.. My mum was the cause, but there were so many other factors to it.. I'm still suffering from the after-affects, worse than most. Listening to this song makes me realize I may be broken, but I will have forever to heal. :) I've got loving friends and a surrogate family to comfort me, to help me.

I heard this song the other day on CMT, on the movie "Broken Bridges" with Toby Keith, Kelly Preston, and Linsey Haun. I'm not a country music person, but that was one of the BEST movies I've seen on TV in a LONG time!! She plays his daughter in it, and I just found out watching this video just now, that she IS the singer and actress in the movie!! If you get a chance the see it, stop what you're doing and watch it.....You'll be glad you did!!
