  • if we came in contact with alien race hell bent on taking over the galaxy and earth next for conquest ,if their form of conquest was a intergalactic battle of the bands. id would put the fate of earth in the collective hands of early 70's led Zeppelin. theyr the best we got

  • Best version ever. Rock and roll at it's best.

  • Led Zeppelin , The greatest rock thingever ; thank you for your music !!!!

  • is it just me or do the bongos sound great being played with sticks? i don't know, maybe it's cause John's playing them. it's not a fair test

  • what year?

  • @JPRymar 1970

  • what happened to music

  • 2 people need a whole lotta love

  • holy thundercunt that was good!

  • The Four Gods of Rock!

  • One Band To Rule Them All...

Amazing performance, amazing song - wish I was there to see it!

  • This might just be the worlds first headbanging audience.

  • so this is what my wife means when she asks for multiple orgasms.

  • and i thought i lasted longer than 6:17.....

  • John Bonham would beat the shit out of Chuck Norris.

  • @thestranger4812 fuck yes he would!!!!!

  • @thestranger4812 you're kinda out of your mind, man! :D

  • @thestranger4812 John Bonham could beat the shit out of Jesus if he wanted to. But they're smoking buddies XD

  • @45arther trololol

  • @45arther Someone wasn't loved when they were a child.

  • @45arther Zep did "cover" blues songs, but so did the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Pink Floyd. Thats what was popular in England at the time.

  • @45arther get a hobby .

  • @thestranger4812

chuck is just the cowbell ;-D,

  • 2 people have never had a whole lotta love...

  • E P I C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i just jizzed a little

  • @nakedspaniard only a little? strange...

  • I love how a guy in the crowd goes "WOMAN" at 4:53 before Robert and he is like "Ahhh, you know it :D... YOU NEED!!!!"

Dammit, Led Zep is the best thing fucking ever and it'll ever be the best fucking thing!!!

  • i am blow the fuck away. oh man. a TIME MACHINE for god's sake.

  • @emilysee94 no, everybody should stop what they are doing and listen to led zeppelin

  • didt the bassist used drugs?

  • @Luukablee you adress the man as God john paul jones, and of course he did the whole band did they were surrounded by it all 4 of them use to smash hotels and leave fresh clean stack of 100 dollers bills on the room table i think it was john bottom who through a piano out of a hotel window lol you'd have to be on drugs to be around the other 3, bonzo the drunk, plant was coke, pot and booze, jimmy was smoking heroin, snorting cocaine, smoking pot and drinking from the bottle.

  • @marleycake hahahha :P

its weird that they arent fucked up like ace frehley is right now

  • @marleycake John bonham..dude....bonzo

  • @marleycake you spelling out good times

  • @ musichead dude these are tasty. Awesome audio.Did u have to clean it up?

  • @ musichead dude these are tasty.

  • even if you are a man and this gives you a boner, you don't have to be afraid that you're gay.

  • 1 guy didnt get a whole lotta love when he was young!

  • Well, it's a toss up between Clapton and Jeff Beck.

  • To @KLthebig : Keith Moon??!! Come on, dude! The actual ranking is as follows: 1. John Bonham (then about 98 other drummers) and finally 100. Keith Moon. I love Page, but he is definitely not #2, unless you limit your ranking to a certain time frame.

  • Ok.

One more thing, what top did u saw?

  • fantasic. i have dont words

  • Esto es un delirio

  • HOW DARE SOMEONE DISLIKE THIS!

  • This is how I LOVE THEM - but in the progressing seventies they were often rather dull and uninspired, Plant even admitted that some months ago in the German edition of Rolling Stone magazine. This here and the 1995 Unledded/Four Quarters tours were their best times - ace stuff !

  • Second best rock guitarist: Jimi Page (first is Jimi Hendrix)

    Best rock singer: Robert Plant

Second best rock drummer: John Bonham (first is Keith Moon)

Best rock bass player: John Paul Jones

Second best rock keyboard player: John Paul Jones (first is Ray Manzarek)

Best rock gig of all time: frankly I don´t know

Second best rock album of all time: Led Zeppelin IV (first is Dark dide of The Moon)

Best Rock song of all time: Stairway to Heaven

Best rock band EVER: Led Zeppelin

    Led Zeppelin=ROCK

  • @KLthebig dude. i'm sorry. but keith moon was NOT. better than John Bonham.

  • Ok, ok, everyone has the right to have an opinion.

    Stay cool

  • @KLthebig yeah, ur right. i'm sorry man. keith moon is a badass. bad mood yesterday lol sry dude

  • MAN, no prob! If u prefer mr Bonham the only thing I must do is stay quiet! WE have ALL to respect the others opinion. If that was your opinion...so let it be!

    Peace!

  • @KLthebig

As much as I accept other peoples opinions you cannot argue with the fact that John Henry Bonham is more skilled than Keith Moon. It's just a fact. Trying to Debate this is actually more laughable than the time some kid tried to argue that Alex Van Halen is better than John Bonham.

  • If u say so

  • @xXXPrinceAlbertXXx you can't compare john bonham with keith moon because they got different styles of play, both they're great.

  • I dont get it how can this be 41 years ago, the greatest atmosphere was in that hall

  • @MixxMasterKid youre right, the atmosphere was so special mentally and physically that night, even though Id seen them before. the place helps too. the next day I could still feel it.

  • time machine please......

  • @StripesZeppelin18 That's right! Why the fuck we could create atomic bomb and we still can't create time machine?

  • For years I've been searching......Today I can finally say I have found the holy grail of youtube videos and this is it. UN FUCKING BELIEVABLE!!!

  • BEAST

  • My mind was blown.... it was fucking great.

  • 4:53 Plant heard the guy yell woman and then he Plant shows him how it's done.

  • i think i have at least put 1,000 views on the view counter singlehandedly.

  • And 'Twas a great day for sweatervests, EVERYWHERE!

  • The thermin solo, reminds me of a bad astral visit i had, where i was caught in the middle of one of the main battles of neptune between reptilian humanoids and nordic androids. Beyond epic !

  • i dont know if it's the best or not, it's simply Led Zeppelin

  • wow i love this band so much!!!! my favorite band ever!!!!!!!!

  • Disappointing that you dont get to see Page working his magic during the theramin solo, but still my fav live version by far, with HTWWW version coming close

  • this is a great version of whole lotta love.

however the best ever version of this song live is from How the West was Won CD album.

its actually amazing they do such a great whole lotta love medlay and its a flawless performance all round. it blows my mind listening to it lol

  • Jimmy Page is the hardest rocking man in a sweater vest

  • sex and music, in my opinion, just don't go together in a song. music is supposed to move your emotions in some way not used as background music while you get laid. it's great music. cmon it's zeppelin but the lyrics aren't the type of poetry that deeply moves me emotionally.

  • @kermicheo

who give a damn, when they made the greatest music in the world?

    WHAT A WHOLE LOTTA LOVE!

    lol

    if you dont like this,

there are many more best led zeppelin song,ALOT.

  • 5:35 is classic:

"Pull your tits out... yeah... gonna give you every inch of my love..."

  • every woman at this concert left pregnant

  • There will never be another band that can even come close to this....We witnessed History! These are the Rock and Roll Gods! Love, Love, Love......I need a whole lot of Love Robert!

  • My older brother was at this show. He said you could literally feel the sex in the air.

  • JUST GREAT, bravo

  • Unbeatable. Anybody who was at this gig gonna post summat?

  • THIS IS OLD SCHOOL ROCK LOVE IT.....TINMAN

  • Two words.......KICKS ASS!

  • rock legends and kick ass song!

  • dude this is so amazing...bro

  • Page wasn't singing still

  • its nice when i see this video and i see guys like 15 - 20 years old rockin out with plant.... now is shit how the teens dies for a faggots like jonas shit , justin bieber..... its sad ...fuck music today.

  • such a rockin song

  • ALavado sea led zeppelin

  • Haha pull your tits out classic at 5 35

  • 40 years later and no band can touch this.

  • @MorningView4 very, very sad

  • Way down inside...every inch of your love!!!!!! :D!

  • YOU NEED KOOOOOL AID, WOMAN I AIN'T FOOOOLIN'.

  • plant says pull your tits out at 5:35. love these hidden gems in zeppelin vids

  • To a luvly lady Conny... hope this swells the heat down by the City of Lights in Eindhoven....

  • girls should stop wasting their money on vibrators and just listen to led zeppelin.

  • @emilysee94 yeahh i want to fuck a girl listening this song.

  • WUT????

    ; D

  • @emilysee94 Why not both?

  • I can't stop smiling lol I should have a restraining order for Led Zeppelin...

  • When the thermin comes on, it just reminds me of some alien monster that page is taming, and making orgasmic noises in the process, of being tamed by a GOD !!!

  • giver giver deaner

  • This performance is the definition of life....Holy wow, I love it :D

  • Did you see Robert's reaction to the guy that mimicking him on 4.57?Well he got his answer..like a coal tar ready to be spilled on the road..

  • Comment removed

  • because of this solo i wanted to play blues and blues rock, and all that stuff ..before that i've played classical guitar...and i knew that there was something missing

    sorry for my english

  • @NapalmFerret Why are you sorry for your english? Its perfect

  • before page started doing heroin.....and bonno drinking so much....sounds so crisp and raw!!

  • @jbmccaskill man bonzo never let his drinking get in the way of his performance

  • @DavidVIIIcool yes he did

  • @Matthew9444 Bonzo and Jonesy were both remarkably consistent live give me one example of a bad concert from Bonzo

  • @DavidVIIIcool in the knebworth concert he makes quite a few mistakes on whole lotta love. 26th may landover 1977 he comes in the achilles last stand about 30 seconds too early during jimmys intro.. i could probably name more

  • @Matthew9444 man bonzo very rarely made mistakes. Any performer will occasionaly make a mistake on stage, but in Bonzo's case that didnt happen much

  • @DavidVIIIcool actually this isn't a mistake. Most early bootlegs of Whole Lotta Love have him coming in early.

  • @lttldrummerboy if you read it correctly i said he came in waaaay too early in achilles last stand in 77 not WLL

  • @Matthew9444 right I know that, I mean this conversation started because of Bonzo coming in to early on the second break in the vid.

  • @lttldrummerboy @lttldrummerboy no its started because he said Bonzo never let his drinking affect his performance. I said he made mistakes in WLL in knebworth but not here.

  • @Matthew9444 You have to admit that there are professional drummers out there who make more mistakes per gig than Bonham did in his entire career. lol, I've even met a few...

  • @lordieuan777 yeah thats true

  • @Matthew9444 actually this isn't a mistake. Most early bootlegs of Whole Lotta Love have him coming in early.

  • @jbmccaskill wow bono was in Led Zep i never new that

  • robert plant's pants<3

  • This is orgasmic to my ears!! One of my favorite songs of all-time. That riff is just drop dead sexy!

  • GIBSON LES PAUL!!!!! sounds sooo good!

  • Pitty about Plant's voice - it was so good from 1968 to 1973

  • @MarinStoikov yeah but sing your heart out over and over and over like he did and see if dosent drain your voice haha. but yeah it was insane in earlyer zeppelin!

  • the album led zeppelin II is a materpiece of rock! kick ass song

  • Long live Led Zeppelin baby.

  • Robert Plant Voice Was So Crazy....but he fucked up at 1975

  • Baby, Baby, Baby, Baby, Ooh, Aah, Oh oh, Mamama, Mamamama!

  • this is sex

  • great song, i love it.

  • 5:01 onwards gives me shivers

  • this is one of the heaviest songs of all time, genius.

  • ladies and gentlemen. this is what I call music.

  • @rrronb that is what everyone should call music but instead we have "musicians" like Justin Fuckfacecunt and Lady Cockintheass so yeah...

  • is it just me or is this probably the best version whole lotta love they did live???

  • I've been saying that for years...this sounds the heaviest and most pure before jimmy page started to get bored and play a different sounding riff. this is the best version and better than the studio version also.

  • @orangetransformer the version on how the west was won is pretty good too

  • @orangetransformer It most certainly is. Money well spent on this DVD.

  • @orangetransformer - I agree when it comes to live video footage. The Royal Albert Hall performance is exquisite, especially the "How Many More Times" marathon performance. From a purely musical POV, I still think the BBC Sessions version is a little better . The Led Zeppelin DVD released in 2000 is highly recommendable.

  • @orangetransformer maybe second. knebworth is pretty sick too

  • @coal1987 maybe NOT. this is when they were still young and jimmy and robert still had it together, and bonzo wasn't drunk the whole time.

  • @coal1987 knebworth was a really good concert aswell but they seemed a little out of it... jimmy was on a lot of unnecesary drugs at that time from what i hear roberts voice was dying out a little and they were all just getting older but it was still an amazing show that they played, but hell its led zeppelin i bet all their concerts had something amazing in each one

  • @orangetransformer This is my favorite live performance Zeppelin ever did.

  • MAS NADA SON LOS Q MANDAN!

  • the start of the 70's.

    i wish i was there,

    early 20's.

  • 1970. January 9th

  • What year was this?

  • heavy metal kids.

  • the best version of this song

  • 5:05 that's what i feel for this version of the song!!
