  • loved this film takes me soooo far back...classic

  • 2:24 - does anyone know that actors name? (the one with the white tux on)

  • @MrJack2502 scott baio

  • I'm too 18 and this film makes me cry.. jaja

  • 3:11 :D

  • Fantastic!

  • Why does it suddenly cut off? That ruins it!

  • It's the best film ever, play it again, play it again.

  • im 14, watched this a..oh idk a few 1000 times ! <3

  • Hhaha I remember this a few yrs ago my school did this, I was Lena (lol) and I just loved the pie fight in the end, it was awesome :P

  • @psb1969 i'm 15 and everyone i know loves it! even my 12 year old brother... i love it and my mum bought it as our xmas film this year... its the best! so i beg to disagree with you...

  • It still makes me laugh that the voice of the young african american boy is that of an adult caucasian guy. (When I first watched the movie as a child I never noticed it wasn't the kids singing, I was too busy singing/humming along and only recently found out that it was Paul Williams in the begining. XD)

  • awesome movie

  • @SurvivalistCrutch im 13 and were doing this for our school play and i LOVE this movie!!

  • They don't make films like this any more. My 10 yr old son has watched all the latest kids films. This was on telly last month and i haven't seen him laugh and be more involved in any of them as much as this. 2 other classics i put on for him and he loved were The Goonies and Stand by me

  • Hahahaha oh my, I watched this with my big brother and parents when I was so tiny!!! LOVE IT

  • The bes song in the film...

  • loved this film, best film from when i was a kid

  • the only bad bit is when u clikc a nother vidoe

  • Why can't u people just post things as they are?....U have made me,and countless others, watch this wonderfull song, without the real end.....Why???????

  • doing this for a school prodcution cant wait to play leroy :D

  • @Amka2010 big part there wanted my freind to get it but some younger girl got it :D good luck

  • @awasomeguy123 ohhhh... poor her :/ and Thx :)

  • The Black kid at 3:11

  • I loved this movie as a kid... why don't my kids like it!?!?! No they aren't dead, no one died! Why does someone have to die for it to be an action movie slash musical? Why don't you know what a musical is?

    Kids! ARGH!!!!

  • @SurvivalistCrutch..I hear ya...unfortunaely, kids born in today's fast moving computer age are more cynical...my nephews are not into this either...sad, but it's great to know we, as adults, still appreciate these childhood treasures..

  • @SurvivalistCrutch I learnt the majority of my life lessons through the songs, down and out told me not to give up, films will never be the same.

    Farewell, Hollywood, been a pleasure.

  • @SurvivalistCrutch I thought it was like...Some sort of non-violent pie fight but when someone got shot they died...Ish XD

  • @SurvivalistCrutch I love this movie, and my Dad showed it to me.

Nobody in the film "dies", anyway. They just disappear after being "shot", and everyone reunites at the end in the speakeasy.

Man, screw this generation and its morbid bile fascination. Listen to the frigging song lyrics, you philistines.

  • @SurvivalistCrutch I'm 18 and I LOVE this movie. I even performed it as a play as a kid. I was the waiter who got drink thrown all over him! ;)

  • @SurvivalistCrutch I never really liked it much as a kid myself but as I've grown older I've grown an appreciation for this film. I guess it's just something that needs to be appreciated by older generations...

  • @SurvivalistCrutch wasn't the story line a bit thin? un pocito hmmm style over content? songs were excellent! who was the composer? someone ....Williams?

  • whats this movie about??

  • @BUDDY63131 It's a kid-gangster movie about two sides of a 'gang land' war. Think of.... I'm not sure if this works but The Untouchables is the only movie that comes to mind at the moment. If anyone else can think of a better comparison.

  • wen i was year 6 we did this play and i was the cleaner and the pianist :) but im white lol

  • @fr33runningTV I don't think it would make too much of a difference these days. Remember this movie was done 1930's style. Like....Cassablanca. I guess they were following that model for the movie. Just a guess.

  • My mum introduced me to bugsy malone yesterday and i love it

  • I remember watching this when it was first released in 1976, I was 11 years old then. Great film and music.

  • Comment removed

  • @IAmUrVirus that'd be odd as Bugsy is white.

  • @IAmUrVirus no funny

  • I remember our school done this song and dance!

  • loln i iz doing this play

  • this is actually called so you give a little love

  • I did this dance in my year 6 performance, it was so fun :}

  • @ajperry1995 let's just say it was around 20 years before Bugsy was helping hurt people in Community General Hospital.

  • im doing the play of this fill

  • The worst part was at 3:30

  • this is very very amzing british and american actors playing 2gether but sadly danny dan played by martin lev committed suicide in 1992

  • strange how all the main singers have the same voice...

  • 3:12 OMFG what is that thing?!

  • i was in yr 3 when i done this play and when i was playing the piano, a fat kid ran around the piano and grabbed my friends trombone o.o im in year 6 now :D

  • @TheReaper11111 I did this in year 6 and I had to sing Fizzy's solo, solo... It hurt.

  • @burbidgestephen How did it hurt?

  • @CLoveX2 Figuratively...

  • @burbidgestephen OH. I'm Fizzy in our school's play, but I'm girl, so It's kinda weird.

  • @CLoveX2 I would say it's easier as a girl... You can get away with the sweet little voice. Even if you wobble or suck, people will still think you were awesome.

When you're a lad, people are critical.

    Good luck. :)

  • @burbidgestephen :) Thanks! It's tonight and I'm SO NERVOUS!

  • @CLoveX2 Hope you did alright.

  • @burbidgestephen I did my best that I've ever sang it! I think that either my mom or I are going to put it up soon! I'll let u know if we do!

  • @burbidgestephen My mom put it up. So if you search Fizzy's Tomorrow, it should come up with me singing it. (And don't worry I already tested it so I know it's the first one)

  • @CLoveX2 I found the video (I hope) and I have given you the appropriate congratulations!

    Very good. :')

  • @burbidgestephen You found the right one! :) Thanks!

  • 11 people pressed the wrong thumb in shame, WHO CAN NOT LIKE THIS!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • @serenhedges Only people that are dead inside can't like this.

  • @SolaarRising i know i feel sory for them

  • im doing this for a school play soon but u dont know who to play any of use have any ideals xxxxxxx

  • @mrslaurahoney123 extra 1

  • U WILL NEVER DE BUGSY MALONE!

  • I think i have to say something... Brown? sounds like a loaf of bread!!! BOOYAH

  • kool and awesome ness

  • If you look up irony in the dictionary it'll refer you to the credits of the film Bugsy Malone, in which the name "Michael Jackson" appears. That's true. Go and check.

  • Man, everyone in the speakeasy is covered. I guess that means an 'adult' version with real guns would've ended with a bloodbath instead of a final musical number, eh?

  • @theotherspartan adult version of bugsy malone=the untouchables

  • The DJ at my house party put this track on last weekend, it was a brilliant moment for us all!

  • sorry didnt mean to enter it twice >.>

  • when i was really young like 3-10 my nanna made me dance to the film on a metal tray when i was naughty, when she heard the tapping stop i got hit with a stick till i leaned me lesson,if they ever make a remake am putting me name forward, cos i know every word and dance,ha ha

  • @supersupergaz007 I hope when U are older U smash her in the face with the same stick

  • Bugsy Malone is just the greatest. I've watched it so many times growing up and I never get tired of watching it.♥

  • I do adore this song.

    But at some points.

I swear to god I can hear the Thomas the Tank Engine theme-tune.

  • This is amazing

  • MIcheal Jackson also had a very small role as Razmataz in this movie. I have always loved this movie.

  • @ladydonna Not the Michael Jackson you're probably thinking of. :) Razmataz is the kid on the piano.

  • Great family movie, kids today missed out on great stuff. This was a fabulous funny movie for kids of the 1970's. Jodie Foster and Scott Baio were kids and not yet famous stars and the musical is a great spoof of gangster dramas. Watch this with the whole movie, get popcorn and enjoy good old fashioned family fun. This should be on the Disney Channel! But Disney went to hell in the 2000's

  • All time classic! Saw the musical on stage as well!

  • Williams best work, Phantom of the paradise was good but BM was more consistent there isnt a bad song in the whole movie.

  • I remember the dick and dom in the bungalo remake of this, with creamy muck muck

  • i like it

  • horrible film; awesome sound track, except Paul Williams...

  • @ToBeDisabledSoon by horrible you mean great !!!!!!!!

  • I'm performing this musical in october and I just been offered the part of Odreary XD

  • favorite movie of all time. thanks for putting this online, brought back memories

  • love it

  • I know this kid named Max Grueber, he looks just like the kid in the beige coat & hat.

  • This makes me love being a child... adults under estimate us.

  • Whenever im feeling like the world is a rotten place i watch this and it makes me smile :-D such a lovely movie!

  • At 2:52 when the line "youre gonna be remembered for the things that you say and do" is being sung, theres a mustachioed guy at the end who SEEMS to be a fully grown adult. Is it?

  • @classicphile no its a child with a fake moustache, as with all moustached ones

  • @gogallifrey I freeze framed it and Im sure its an adult. As a matter of fact, as I replay it and freeze frame it, it seems that everyone in his row, the last row is a fully grown adult. Could they be members of the behind the camera crew for one on screen moment?

  • @classicphile no if u look REALLY closly they're children

  • @gogallifrey I looked closely. I freeze framed it. The guy at the ned is definitely an adult,

  • these are all kids? cool some didnt look it

  • whos dandy dan?

  • I've got the movie recorded on foxtel and I watch it all the time and rank it in my top ten. It must have been so much fun acting in that movie, did you now Michael jackson and Jodie foster (Panic room, Contact, Silence of the lambs) act in this movie.

  • i know jodie foster is tulullah...but where is michael jackson??? are u suure??

  • he was razmataz the guy at the piano at the end begins to sing this song

  • you do realize its not michael jackson as in one of the most famous people in the world michael jackson right? Its just an actor with the same name!

  • lmao

  • We sang this on the last day of primary.....aaaahhh :] love it!

  • i grew up with this film, will never forget it, what an amazing concept for a film, great song

  • F you high school musical, you are small time compared to this. Bugsy Malone will forever be a great classic

  • @Yarrick2k5 yes the dreaded HSM will never even compare with the one and only great Bugsy Malone :)

  • @Yarrick2k5 yes the dreaded HSM will never even compare with the one and only great Bugsy Malone :)

  • i just did a school pruduction of this and i had a really small part, i was just an extra with no lines. i realy really hated it at first, we had rehursals for 2 horus ater tuesday adn thursday adn missed alot of break time and i hated it so much. but last night was the final performance and i realised i had had such an amazing time and met amazing people. its a great musical . and after the final show i cried and this song brings a tear to my eye lol. BUGSY MALONE :) (Y)

  • how the heck did they get finance for a film starring a cast of all kids who are gangstas with splurge guns and cream cakes as weapons... and they got jodie foster to star lol. most awesome film. music score is out of this world.

love love love it. totally timeless.

  • cool

  • who was the fat boy? What actor.

  • @crysjumar

    John Cassisi, agreed, he's mint!

  • Time to go to Nexflix.

  • I'm sure that the song, lyrics and meaning is never more true today, that it ever has been. Maybe we can all take a lesson in life from this film. Or just think fuck it and get on with life as per.

  • Paul williams voice

  • who sings it????
