Nice little style - may I suggest you relaxand put some "growl" into it. Part of relaxing means sort of leaning back, filling your lungs and then loosing that sombitch song like Lon Cheney Jr, using that trademark piano cadence Zevon "captured" in the original. This might mean incorporating a barre chord here and there, too, come to think of it. I am going to give it a try myself. Hadn't considered trotting this one out on acoustic.
