Great video. I tried this out with my 5-year-old last night and saw instant results.

After attempting to catch a small foam ball with his left hand a dozen times, we switched to a heavier ball and his mitt and he was able to catch a ball from over 10-feet away.

Considering he's only ever been able to catch using the basket method, and using both hands, I'd say this drill is a winner.
