It means i think vortex scrolls do shitty dmg and waste my mercenaries AP. Save yourr AP for using better scrolls/activations and all that shit.

pretty nice. I've going to be doing this quest when I get home tonight and I think I'll do alright if you were only lvl 10-11. My Swordsman main is 14 and my other mercs are all between 9-12 so it should be good

3 spears, shaman , cannoner, u need some tanking to protect the other two, cannooneer is for stunning aoe, u should grab a witch, beast master once you can. and for tank, grab, exo( high level) swordsman / female knight

Seriously, none of the bosses should be a problem till you finally get into the 80s/90s, in the 100s, they just get a bit annoying

Agreed. Use 3 scrolls on your second turn and in the next, every monster dies. Then you go for the Hellish Fairy. Quite simple.

For me i find scrolling a waste if its vortex :P, im now lvl 83 i find, easiest way and cheapest way, just beat the bosses normally, If your gunna scroll in the later levels, make sure its judgement or freezing or something

are u joking me i beat it at lvl 12 i am a spearman and i have 1 other lvl 10 spearman in the party a lvl 11 worrior and another lvl 11 worrior that is how i beat her i thaught it was eazy compared to the mutated tree boss there magic kicked my ass....twice hahaha

*Metalsnake, you should just use your Scrolls of Vortex / constantly hitting her with your ranged mercenaries to get her stunned (3 consecutive hits will stun her). Also, lightning spear drains action power which could limit her ability to use the powerful aoe spell. If you are using swordsmen, just tank your way through the fairies while pressuring her with your ranged merc; be it the gunner or archer.

get some tanks on your team..get like a ranged merc for the dmg...keep your main in the back. you shouldnt have problems with bosses until your in the 80s/90s thats when the bosses start getting a bit hard

None of the bosses have 4k dmg AoE nukes that hit your whole team and destroy you until the lvl 80 dungeon boss, Oda Nobunaga. After that all bosses have full party spells that do massive damage. Before that none of the bosses can do that, they just have higher HP, def and atk. And before the lvl 50 dungeons, all bosses can be frozen,stunned and silenced which makes them too easy.

rofl... the rest of the hell warriors and soldiers ran away...i used the scroll of vortex to kill them all when i was around lvl 10...i was a spearman lol...spear rox! oh yea..long ranged ones shud be put at the back...ur gunner might die...nice tactic...cannon is good...

don't think that there is only a certain way to form a party. I've seen a person with full archer party and he/she did perfectly fine.

4 month reply way too late, but just to let you know. During the beta I did completely well with that line. I went up to 48 I believe like nothing. In fact, the only quest that gave me trouble was the Beast Master quest.

Its turn base combat system. You will need to plan their formation and pick mercs as your party members. the rest should be basically similar to FF battle system.
