Pre-trial is a huge waste of taxpayer's money !

Pretrial release spends taxpayer money, releases hardened criminals without a worry if they fail to appear for court.

That was not pretrial releases mandate: to help indigent defendants achieve bail if they were accused of a non-violent offense, were not a threat to do anyone harm, & were not a flight risk.

Professional bail manages criminals released on surety bail without taxpayer money.

Pretrial release releases criminals without accountability, but costs taxpayers money.
