  • From someone just starting getting into vocal recording and mastering, this vid is dope. Highly informative when they all just look like the same damn plugin at first, keep at it bro so we can keep learnin'.

  • Dude, you're not getting any love. I think it's a great video.

(song "You've Got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story starts playing)

  • yo does this work for a usb mic?

  • I don't get it

  • I like the video, but one thing missing for newbies that look at the title of the video - Doesn't show how to "record vocal",

Just shows the filter stuff to use. Just a comment with the title, but great video otherwise.

  • @DJDanimal73 Thats why you follow the links. Within the annotations. I know the vid was flawed but it did have some info worth keeping.

  • @ramirez71280 No disrespect meant, I was just FYI-ing as maybe the title should be changed for people looking for specifics. It is a great video as stated previously.

    Keep it up

  • HEY BRO!! This shiz is very useful. We just a production team startin out and i find this vid very useful. I do all kinds of audio recording, but my miscellaneous recording (Dubbing, Scores etc) is done on Mixpad. BTW, My voice is up so much on bass, it doesn't sem so level with tha beats, any help with that? Thanks. NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU ASAP/

  • @ramirez71280 were do you get all your plugins from i need some

  • You talk to damn much!

  • @OliBoserup The more the merrier.

  • @ramirez71280

Hey, this Video was helpful, but I have a problem with my Fl, When I adjusted all the Vst nd ready to record, I can Listen my voice in input while talking. What should I do to turn it off?

  • @ramirez71280, where can i get plugins like GGate and iZOTOPE OZONE 4?

  • @TheYoungsafo well ggate you just google and its the first link... ozone 4 is outdated and the new version cost $

  • watch?v=kryhIwZPh8g

  • I have a mic on my headset wich is plugged into my computer but fl seems to not be able to find it... When i come to the part of the selection of inputs there is no available input. When i hold my mouse over the selection (where you chose "Fast Track In 1/2 2") there is a questionmark and it says "(none)" and there is no arrow pointing down such as yours. When i click the "(none) there is another tab of fl coming telling me to pick ASIO but i can´t... Do you recognize this problem? Can u fix it?

  • @SnaBeLgaTA Try going to OPTIONS, AUDIO SETTINGS, and in the INPUT/OUTPUT drop box select ASIO4ALL then once you do that click on SHOW ASIO PANEL and within that panel you should be able to select the headset mic. Then go back and try to set the mic in one of the mixer tracks again. I hope this helped.

  • @ramirez71280 That´s the problem. I can´t select any "ASIO4ALL". I don´t have it... Does that mean that i don´t have an ASIO soundcard? It seems as if I´m the only one who doesn´t..

  • @SnaBeLgaTA Go to asio4all.com , download and install the English version then try that process again. It sounds to me like you dont have it installed. Asio4All is a software driver.

  • @ramirez71280 Oooooooh... I thought it was something you had to buy to your computer. Thanks alot man! I´ll check that out :)

    Really helpful video btw! :D

  • @SoujaPlies Google it and it should be the first result. Its free.

  • im so confused lol

  • @chupp187 Just pause the vid one step at a time. You"ll get it. Search NFX Beats on Youtube of WarBeats.com. He was my teacher. He'll show you a lot of great stuff. Peace.

  • @ramirez71280 thanks bro ima look into that cuz my shit just aint soundin right

  • when you record dose the input have to be set to mono?

  • where did you find the GGate plugin?

  • could someone explane to me how to clean up your vocals and make them sound good in FL Studio????

  • @KrayzedLil Well, is your audio options set to your mic your using? Go to Options, Audio Settings, and on the Input/Output drop box make sure its set to ASIO4ALL if your using a usb mic. If you got an interface make sure its set to the interfaces ASIO option. I hope this may have cleared things up. Peace.

  • dude..i'd love for u to send me the mixer state file...

    ;)

  • wow that helped alot !!!!!!!!

  • my usb microphone has a delay everytime im trying to record how do i take it off thanks...

  • @jaak12345678, that delay is gonna be like that because the sound card is built in the mic, save some cash, grab a interface, and a condenser mic, the best way to o, usb mainly for beginners, you can record a mixtape fine with one but not album quality music. saves you alot of engineering,, mix and mastering.

  • @jayergoeshard I agree. I started off with a usb myself in the beginning but now im stunting an m audio interface and Genesis Tube Condenser Mic. Now one could buy just the interface and skin the audio signal off of a usb mic to take away delay. Alot of interfaces have a guitar 1/4 inch jack next the the XLR jack. One would need a 1/ 8" to 1/4" cable going from the out put of the usb mic to the input of the interfaces 1/4" jack.

If money is tight in the mean time.

  • did your FL come with the ggate plugin?

    Nice video bro, keep'em coming!

  • @RaYisonFireX4 No, GGate is free ware just google it. Ozone Izotope isnt however. The one im running is a cracked version of Izotope. Its out there on the net you just gotta find it.

  • Good vid, very informative. Which version of Fl studio 10 are you using?

  • @MiliblockTV I believe its 10.0.2 or something like that.

  • @ramirez71280 ook appreciate it man. I see that they do upgrades/updates after its bought. And the cheapest version to record/and produce beats is the producer edition, found wat i was looking for. Thanx again tho...

  • You said that you have it set to ASIO? Ok, go back to options, audio settings and in the input/output drop box see if theres a different Asio setting related to your interface. Like mine for instance says M-Audio USB ASIO. If you have it set on ASIO4ALL thats probly why its not working.

  • whenever i try to click on the in drop down to pick my audio interface it wont show up, i have my settings on asio but i dont know why it wont show up and i cant record. Can someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cheddab0b You said that you have it set to ASIO? Ok, go back to options, audio settings and in the input/output drop box see if theres a different Asio setting related to your interface. Like mine for instance says M-Audio USB ASIO. If you have it set on ASIO4ALL thats probly why its not working.
