this was uploaded in 640x480 *.FLV file.. but youtube doesnt allow this method any more ( it now recompresses it to look like shit), so i use vimeo now (mainly).

Did you use a EE-A focus screen?

If so, where did you get it?

Also, what format/program did you use to export your clip to when uploading it to youtube?  Sharpness is insane.

premier pro 2 to edit, total video vonverter to convert to flah video for upload. original file format had stereo, i'm not to sure its stereo. but it would be beucase of total video converter i guess.

Awesome. What exactly have you done with it? It looks cool, what is the lens? I'm getting an HV20 soon (I have a DVX100B, but it's too big to carry around). Should I just get rid of the DVX and tweak my HV20 like yours?

its pretty much a stock hv20 with a letus 35mm adapter with a 50mm nikon lense & a rode mic. the DVX100B has alot of manual control more so than the HV20, though it doesnt have high definition, no 16:9 native chips wich the HV20 does. personally i would prefer the hv20 but its up to you, or you could have both :) The DVX100B is a very good cam. - Marty.

The lens does play a big part of it (quality wise), though i dont think all are the same, some do not flip the image upright, some get bad light loss, barrel distortion ect... soon i will be getting the letus 35 flip, wich has great reviews and flips the image upright :)

yeah i wanted to ask about that, i looked at the m2 and the breavis, and both flip the image upside down, does yours do that? i want the M2, but im not sure how to flip the image back to normal; I use sony vegas and im just getting to grips with it. if the Letus 35 doesn't, i might get that.

the letus35 flip does flip it so you wont have to do it in post, if you get the m2 you will have to flip the image in post with your editing system, vegas as you said.

Is this really an HV20? If it is, how much did you pay for the lens? I just picked up one of these cameras and the quality is fantastic. I'd definately go grab one of these lenses. Even on YouTube this picture looks movie quality.
