WHY DOES EVERYBODY SAY THEY LIKE THIS BOOK? I HATE THIS BOOK. IF YOU CAN'T ADD DETAILS TO A BOOK DON'T WRITE. I AM A WRITER AND ANYBODY THAT DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO WRITE SHOULD NOT. It pisses me off when everybody think they write. no not everybody can write and if you can't write don't write. Poeple that are true writers and were education in writing should write. I'm not talking about getting a degree in it but taking high school creative writing class.

@JessMill2104Have you ever slept in a cardboard box when you were child? Do you know anyone who lives on the streets solely because they want to, and what if it was your own flesh and blood, your own mother and father? Jeannette Walls has gone through what you can only make up. Do not scorn her for her mistakes but respect her for her hardships.People like this book because it's true, after all it is a memoir.There's no such thing as a "true writer",just true words.

okay, a few things: 1) you and I sooo have the same subscribers. lol I see them commenting on your videos. 2) I don't know if you've read these books but you need to read ANYTHING by David Sedaris or Augusten Burroughs. They write EXACTLY what you're looking to write 3) I'm writing a Sedaris/Burroughs-esque book myself! Good luck with yours! I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. :D

@Jessigmann624 It is a gay fiction novel that is about 2 boys. Tim and Ben. It spans a decade and goes from friends to lovers to sometimes enemies. It is really an amazing book.
