Thanks for the comments Omar and Opportunity in China. Im one of the founders of DFW or DizzyFootWurk from Rochdale... also known as Dirty Fuckin wogs by the National Front and Littleborough Anti Paki League lol . Im happt that these Irish brothers had the same name and continued the tradition. Have to admitted I got choked up with the people defending and remembering us on here...one love
@twiceborne i can guess which member of dfw u are....do u really need to come out with all the racial shit??. no. why not just appreciate the fact that these guys maybe copied ur name and thats it. no need for the racials at all!!. so maybe u got some racist abuse at the time but this is not the forum to air those grievances.
@westsidepossee Are u serious bro? I wasnt being racist I was stating that we used to get called that by Racists . If you read the rest of the statement I say I'm proud that these Irish Brothers possibly took the name. Im not even convinced they did take the name , maybe we just came up with it at the same time.... And regarding racism it was pretty much a big part of the BBoying scene as we often had to fight skinheads and racists just to be able to dance....
@twiceborne Understand - but as per my previous email there is no need to bring up the racism u suffered in this vid. It is not relevant. We are talking about the name and whether these guys copied it or not....the racism that u suffered although not nice is not relevant to this vid. Hope this is more clear now.
What opportunityinchina is quite correct, if you google kaleef, wiki will give you answers about the Greater Manchester DFW who formed very early in the 80's, so I can Imagine that these guys did rip their name name from the original DFW.
DizzyFootwork were not on BBC TV as far as I can remember, but on Channel 4 84/85 were they came 2nd in a National Breakdancing Comp, to a totally stupid Robotics miming crew, credit to the guys above but DFW were in a league apart, what these guys do doesn't even touch what DFW did in terms of Breakdancing!!!!
@djlaze1972 being one of the original guys from Dizzy foot work from Rochdale in fact, we were on eastern eye, and I have uploaded the video, so check it out. So while there was no internet there were videos.

@Jay1898 I grew up 'in' DizzyFootWork as their 8 year old mascot that pulled a mean windmill, backspin, head spin combo. I also was part of a younger crew in Rochdale called the Rock City Crew.
oh the memories, i couldn't remember my account details so i had to create a new account to comment, had to be done, classic, put a smile on my face for sure, nice one. god how i wish we had some video of the battles in the old club in neilstown, them was the shiz, those that where there no what i mean ;)
So this is what lads from Dublin used to do before dope and coke come to town.

i was a member of the "team city rockers" (ireland) from 85' - 90', and we were 10 times better than these guys.....,but not till 86'ish.
these guys were the first irish crew and were a lot older than us.
most of them are 45 + now...... (:
2 of them still dance...
