I'm a Packers' fan who lives in Atlanta, so I was at both Packers-Falcons games this year (regular season & the playoffs). Although I was elated when Green Bay beat Atlanta in the playoffs last week, I still have a lot of respect for the Falcons' organization and there's no doubt they had one of their best seasons ever (not as great as '98, of course, but still darn good!). Hang in there, Falcon fans.....your time will come soon.

@thirdshift47 No we obviously forgave him when he first came to philly cause out of 32 teams the eagles were the only franchise that wanted Vick and forgave him and gave him a second chance if it wasnt for philly he might not be playing football right now. Yes some fans didnt approve at first Vick did have to EARN the respect on and off the field and i think he did that. Neither Mike Vick or Matt Ryan(both of whom I'm still great fans of as an Atlanta resident)have anything to prove.
All that I can say is that it was truly painful for us to lose Mike and then to see what happened to this team.
And yet Ryan has already outstripped Mike in regular-season accomplishments with this team.
What's more,regardless of what happens next season,Mike is at his peak right now,and Matt will be around much longer makin' noise.

I'm a Ravens fan and I just wanted to say that I have much respect for the falcons. Ever since you got out of the shit hole you were in with a quarterback that only ran with the ball, and then going through terrible coaches, you guys really came a far way. I'm a Packers' fan who lives in Atlanta, so I was at both Packers-Falcons games this year (regular season & the playoffs). Although I was elated when Green Bay beat Atlanta in the playoffs last week, I still have a lot of respect for the Falcons' organization and there's no doubt they had one of their best seasons ever (not as great as '98, of course, but still darn good!). Hang in there, Falcon fans.....your time will come soon.
