wyttale: Great video. That's what hunting is about. The world could use more dads like you. You and Sammi are going to remember these for the rest of your lives.
nice doe! i saw one atleast 225 lbs the second day of youth. i was using my dads 20 guage and she was easily over 100 yds away so i couldnt shoot her.
nice hunt ... i didnt know it was a muzzcleloader at first i was like ... why so much smoke haha ....only one thing i dont like about this vid ... is to see kids hunting with their little videogames right next to them... isnt the point of takeing them hunting is so they can see that video games arnt the only fun thing ...other than that nice vid
Kids have a certian level of patience especially when they are confined to a treestand. The game is her "pacifier" until the time for her to get the job done when the deer showed up. You have to remember when you were a kid, right?
of course .... im still a teenager.... im 17, , ..
but back then if i wanted to get my deer i would have to be paying attention ....my friends cousin went hunting with us and he took his little nintendo ds, hes like 8 or 9 ...so he sat there with his dad in a stand , his dad spotted a deer for him ... ( he had been playing since he had arrived ) took the shot, killed the doe .... and kept on playing the game .... he didnt wanted to clean it.touch it , not even eat the deer...
Sam only had her DS out for a short period before the "prime" of the evening started then she was all business. As you saw in the video, she was very hands on after the shot. She also did the field dressing on her own, some direction was needed but basically it was all her. And we do eat what we kill.
Fantastic video, it was so much fun to watch! I am sure you were extremely proud of your daughter. She put one heck of a shot on that big ol slick head. Way to get her involved and a huge congrats to Sammi!!! Keep it up
complete and total, AWESOMENESS! Amazing. It's good to get kids out there hunting and fishing. The outdoors is an amazing place. Kids these days need this!!! Amazing. My little one is 3, and I'm a US Marine, so my hunting days are limited, but I will be retiring by the time she is 13 and can't wait to get her out there to have an experience like this!
Great shot ! can't wait till I can hunt with my kids ! Im loving the nintendo ds in the tree stand ! LOL, I'm dam near 30, and I got the psp in the tree stand ! Hope rifle season bags her that bigger buck ! GOOD LUCK !
Thanks!!! Kids need some distraction while they wait for the deer to show. I play the games on my phone when I feel a little strung out from alot of "just sitting there".
oh yea...i used to own one....my cousin bought it so i went out and bought the traditions pursuit two xlt...fluted ported barel...stainless with camo thumb hole stock...i like it so far...
Nice shot! O and by the way don't even listen to "Nemorzuz" he or she is an idiot! Your daughter made a very nice shot and he is problaby just jealous that he doesnt have that much skill! Tell her she made a VERY, VERY nice shot! I am omly 14 and i think being outdoors is great and u dont often see gurls liking to hunt and be outdoors so thats awesome man! 5*'s !!!
I think it's sad. What has been done to that child. Clearly she only does what she does because she has a low self esteem caused of bad parenting. Therefore she needs the constant self assurance from the twisted father figure. She acts as if she is just 6 years old. And that is sad. Really, children are brilliant and they learn fast and can become really smart and responsible in early age. That will require the parents to be smart and inspirational too. In this case, it's all bad inspiration.
For your information, Sammi is a straight "A" student in school. Her education always comes first. She loves to hunt because this is what I instill in her. I would much rather have her learning to self support herself if times become hard again, or worse. I also believe that if the children of our world have a different focus besides corruption and discontent for our society, our world will be a much better place for everybody. You can take your bad inspiration and preach it elsewhere.
You have yet to understand that a straight "A" does not make one intelligent. The whole school system is corrupt in the first place. But there can be good schooling, that would require relevant and truthful information.
And how can the world be a better place by teaching our children to kill? How can the world become peaceful ever again at this pace? And how can we simply take the right to kill other living creatures simply for our own egotistical amusement?
Just to set the record straight, although I do enjoy hunting, I consume all the creatures that I harvest. My "ego" has nothing to do with the fact that hunting is a part of my life. Enough said by you!! You are blocked!!!
That idiot thinks that hunting is all killing...we only point and shoot and do all this stuff that we dont. To me it sounds like that nemorzuz is the one with low self a steam. He or she is talking down to your daughter bc she can shoot. It seems that what ever nemorzuz does for a living isnt good enough so "it" has to take it out on everyone else. All that crap "it" typed above is CRAP. I am only 18 but I shoot competitions. I know whats up.
that is so awesome! the look on her face and the excitement in her voice is priceless! great job to you and your daughter! 5* faved and added to my deer hunting playlist....loved it! can't wait to get out with my girls
Its funny how no matter what you just can't hide from electronics, lol everywhere you go there are video games and cell phones, and the outdoors is no different! lol
Actually those treestands are only about 6 feet off the ground!! Just high enough to get into the lower foliage of the low growing maple tree. A harness is always a good idea when in a tree stand, but not really necessary or a stand this low. Thanks for the concern though.
Man i love that hunt. I took my kids out last year, they cryed about the bugs. But i will have them back out again. Im going to wait until it get cold. 5* goes out to Sam, keep on hunting.
That is so awesome hope I can get my girl out there to share a good hunt with her the same great shot!!

That was indeed a CVA Wolf muzzleloader. I paid $160.00 for it at Wal-Mart. Shoots just as straight as any high dollar muzzleloader.
