This sounds like a BAD idea. Matchheads contain potassium chlorate, and adding any sort of ammonium compound can cause the formation of ammonium chlorate, a very dangerous unstable chemical, that may pose an explosion hazard.

Although I seriously doubt the solution would explode, chlorate+ammonium is definitely considered a no-go.
