How do you find the classic linn samples (lm-1 or linndrum) ?! I've identified the lm-1 clap -;) does it have a super tight midi timing and groove ? Thank you ! Isham
Thanks for the demo, I love Linn & Smith's demonstrations but you can never get a proper idea for a machine until you see it demonstrated by a separate party entirely. I dont get why people want it to sample so much though, an MPC can do all the sampling you could ever want for a fraction of the price, whats good about this is that it's a drum synth and you will be able to synthesize sounds from scratch. I can imagine synth nerds will be the people who really go for this rather than Hip Hop guys
@snolan1990 sampling would be rad because it would made the machine pretty much the ultimate all-in-one for a lot of people. plus when i think linn i think MPC.
@dadruben It doesnt look like it--- but there are so many internal sounds and synthesis parameters that it will definitely keep you happy for a long time (and i hate the idea of being 'stuck' with preset sounds, but im not bored with them).. and like i said there is a synthesis engine to run the samples through. the fact that every "oscillator" has 5 envelopes allows you to crossfade two or more into each other. Really really great stuff here.
awesome snare sound.

Thanks for taking the time to post this! I pre-ordered mine in June, and have been anxious for more demo videos. What is your opinion of it so far?

@Puzzlegob Love it! Its easy to use, inspiring, and most of all it sounds great right out of the box!

I'm VERY curious about the sound samples aspect. Will it be possible to load in your own samples?
