Actually the makers did mention something about a new "series" of Avatar. They want to either make a new series that begins before A:TLA starts, or hundreds of years after A:TLA ended. Rumored to start in late 2010. I highly doubt it... but it's best to hope. At Least they're THINKING about a new series!

and nice idea indeed but there is a flaw. the idea of Light and Dark powers are pritty much a western line of thinking. in China storys there is no such thing as "Dark magic" only "misused Magic" the same spell used to rased a army of the dead can be used to rase a forest, the idea that u have evil and good magic or Chi is a western idea, tho yes it would put a nice spin on things if they could work it away it didnt get all cheesey
