Strange variation of the Bahama Mama. Seems it is missing the fundamental ingredients; Coconut rum, grenadine and pineapple juice. I'm partial to 2 1/2 oz Malibu rum, 2oz Orange Juice, 2oz Pineapple juice, 1/2oz Grenadine and blended with ice.

thats not a bahama mama it's gold rum and coconut rum pineapple juice and a touch of grenadine shaken and pour into a tall glass but i will try your reciept out

The way they made them for me when i was in the bahamas was 1 oz bacardi gold, 1oz nassau royale, top with pineapple/orange/grenadine mix.

@ACS07 its a trick; bartenders fill the jigger 2/3's of the way, and keep pouring so you think you're getting a bigger drink.

That is NOT a Bahama Mama. Try 1 ounce of Captain Morgan spiced rum with mango passionfruit cocktail mix in the blender with some ice. pour into a tall glass lined with banana guava syrup, and top with a float of 1/2 oz Bacardi Black. Garnish with an orange wedge and a cherry.
