@MrPur3d No, actually. I'm under 18 and I'm in one. About your situation... being 18 or older may be a requirement to join the organization, but not to play with them. If you can access their website's schedule (if they have one), just look up the when and where of a game and be there when it happens. Odds are they'll let you play, especially if it's at a paintball/airsoft park that caters to walk-on players. I do highly suggest that you get your own equipment, though.

@livetofreerunn there is no amo that is better than the other heavier bbs give greater accuracy but lighter one give higher range so if your gun is wicked powerful you can use heavy bbs and still have good range

@livetofreerunn For airsoft bbs, heavier is better, to an extent. At about 400fps (which is what I'm guessing is about what your said gun shoots), a sniper's best options are between .27g to .32g. .27g is pushing it a little, and I only suggest it because of the Bioval BBBMax bbs that weigh .27g. That line of bbs is as close to perfect as you can get. They never, ever, ever have air bubbles, and are extremely consistent in size and shape. They come in different weights, but are hard to find.

@NeptuneMS385 Since it shoots about 400fps, I'd go with .25g bbs at the very least. Very least. If you can get your hands on anything heavier, do so. .20g bbs aren't going to work very well. And using .12g bbs... that rifle will shatter those things inside the barrel usually. I suggest .27 Bioval BBBMax, IF you can find it. It's hard to come by, to be honest. But if you use that, your friends that are suggesting .20g bbs will be f***ing amazed at how far you can shoot 'em from.

To buy an Airsoft gun you have to prove that you are entitled to, which is known as the Skirmisher's Defence. Usually players register with an organisation called UKARA who provide you with a membership number that proves you are entitled to the Skirmisher's Defence. To register with UKARA you have to play at least three games over a period of at least 2 months.

Ownership is totally unrestricted. Only buying requires proof.
