Regardless of whether it's abusive or not, it's a stupid contraption, dogs need to know that they can bark in certain situations, such as if someone breaks into your house or if someone's in trouble and needs attention.

This teaches a dog to never bark regardless of anything.

Bad idea in my opinion.

Vocal Cord Surgery for Dogs should be mandatory, that's the solution to shut up vicious dogs, that's what they deserve for not knowing how to behave. I think that's better than feeding them with poisoned hotdogs.

@svartahridxhgc dont even bother your self. This people say all that shit because are dumbs. It is not like you are giving a powerfull shock in your dogs. Using the right products you are actually doing nothing different from a mother.

The shock will start from the lowest level, so the dogs will learn without unnecessary "pain". And are going to stop barking. THATS IT.

If teaching your dog with this is cruelty so to punish a child is too.

Punishment is not agressive, is not unfear.

A dog's behaviour is a result of their owners behaviour, so if your dog is messed up, try finding the faults in yourself rather than punishing the dog for what you have taught it!
