omg i cant believe i was at all those places:):):) each and every one!!! BUlawayo center. Esats whre we used to shop for scholl clothes:):):) I jst wanna go home:):) pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ^ ^
Love the photos and music, I plan to go to zim this year, I hope the elections will be peaceful. I pray the rise of this great nation. THE GREAT ZIMBABWE!
No luck with the music then! Spent 14 years in Bullies..........will go for a look again one day. Miss the Jacarandas in bloom, the matabele sense of humour......coke floats......Eski's ice cream.....Downings bread.....puff adders (only kidding). Stock cars and speedway......trade fair.....Baron's motor spares keeping our Mini's going and so on and so on.......Aaahhhh now what was that music again?
WOWW!!!! Such a beautiful, nice and clean city. I wonder why you never see this part of zim on western/whidey tv. This city contrast the negative images u see about zimbabwe on all the news networks. Nice, clean, low crime, good standards and buildings, uncluttered streets; so thats telling you something. And dont always believe the lie that those buildings where built by whites when u see they are outnumbered. how can u claim to build cities in areas where blacks dominate, lol.
This is good, here you see a true reflection of Blues, not the negative propaganda we see on the news all the time,of course a few more cars and pedestrians would have been nice :)
hahaha The City Hall lives! That's my city but inst it a shame that I can ID more buildings in Harare than in Byo :( Those wide streets are the business! I see that the city is still living up to its name of cleanliness! Why are prople acting brand new - the city gets deserted on Sundays or after hours because people are either at home, with their families or at church.
and thanks for the pictures, my guy is from zimbabwe and your upload has provided me with a beautiful insight into modern day zimbabwe. everything on the net is so negative, thanks again.
I hope that in now and about 3 years that I can visit Zimbabwe, especially Harare and Bulawayo. What are other nice cities in this country?

never been to Africa but Bulawayo seems to have a regal bearing about it...
And they´ve got the trick down to have wiiiiide avenues not cluttered by zillions of 1/2 ton Hyundai pick up trucks.

All the buildings look pre-Zimbabwe i.e colonial 1950-70s.
