Since I live in a place that THRIVES on the freeway it'd difficult if something happened to my parents and I'd have to live without a car. If I can ride my bike on the free way I'd be able to get to school and work easily.

Whether you're in Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Boston or any other major market, most cities have only two (2) Interstates, one North/South and one East/West, for the flow of transportation in and out of the city.

Dallas , Texas has four (4) Interstates running through the city, which helps alleviate some of the "Parking Lot" scenarios. With three (3) of the four (4) converging in their downtown area. However, traffic is still heavy and unbearably congested, as in other major cities.

It's not like the cyclists were out there to harm cars... why should that motorist be allowed to harm the cyclist? Why shouldn't they be allowed to ride on the freeway like that? Give me one good reason. While you try to think of one, other than one that consists of violence... i'll be riding my bike on the freeway while you sit in your hyundai overheating sippin on an icee... you're a little on the heavy side, start taking yourself more lightly.

If a cyclist should be allowed on the freeway they should be restricted from riding in any lanes. Avg freeway speed is prob 60-90mph and these bikes do what, 30-35. Wouldn't you think these guys would cause accidents w/ all slower speeds, road ragers, and sudden lane changes from motorists who don't expect to see them in their lane. Oh and I drive a 98 supra w/ an AC that blows colder then your broken down ice box (since you wanna assume)
