I live in Morgan County and grocery shop at that Kroger. Although a Michigander, I had lived in the Columbus area for years and was mortified to find such a tiny Kroger in our area when we moved here, however....you would not believe how much can be packed into a little store like that! We find most of what we need there! We buy a few things out of town, but for the most part they have a decent selection. Cute little place, huh? Btw, Morgan County is lovely!
I had never even heard of Kroger grocery stores until my friend and I travelled to Roanoke, VA to visit her family. But that one was quite large and very clean inside. The staff was friendly, too. I honestly don't know if I'd even consider stepping inside this store. LOL

This store, which is probably the oldest still-operating Kroger store in the chain, most likely dates back to the 1940's or early 1950's. Inside, it reminds me of supermarkets from that era. There's even a clock with the old 1946-1961 Kroger logo, "Kroger-Live Better For Less", by the entrance/exit doors. There's only two checkouts. There was once a similar old Kroger in Glouster, OH, several miles down Rt. 78, but that one closed a few years ago, replaced by another store in the next town.
The carts are narrower than most stores, but still can only get one at a time through the aisles. Two check outs. They keep merchandise that takes up a lot of space, i.e. watermelons, pumpkins, cases of pop outside by the entrance.
@preciousangelamy69- LOL... I didn't even bother to go inside. I imagined the aisleways were as narrow as those found in old corner drugstores. Make a vid for us to see! Set your cam in the cart and give us an "in-cart" view! LOL
