how come he says the torque got increased from -450- to 500... ? something's weird here, can't find answer for that :X

actually i think it is 500, i think it's got an over boost function like 911 turbo has..so it's probly 450 at normal an 500 when boost feature is on

Some ECU software rework....gives more ponies and torque. So base power for this version is 340 PS (euro, in US bhp its 335) plus 450Nm torque (+50Nm via boost). Comparable to the "BMW Performance" Kit (don't know if this is only available in Europe, BMW has it's own in-house tuning program since Jan 2008, incl. exhausts, carbon, body kits, very special sport seats, digital race steering wheels, engine tuning etc), lifting standard 135i/335i to 326PS/320bhp and 450Nm aftermarket.

There will be no //M version of the new BMW Z4. This is the "M". Iit is way to heavy to convert it into a true //M. It would be like those two elephants on wheels X6M and X5M. Completly useless and hopeless outperformed by its rivals...

Im sure your hating on X6M or X5M. They might be big and heavy, but a 4.5 0-60 is insane. That would smoke ALOT of cars on the road.

It doesn't I am afraid. Because if they test 0-60mph they use new tires, a track, no additional weight in the car and so on. If you watch Top Gear (which is not objective I have to add) you might observe that they are not that quick. I love //M cars, the M3 is just stunning, the M5 & M6 huge fun and the Z4M as well. But if you compare those cars to the ones above you will find a very different level of quality.
