Long Live the United Nations. Keep the sanctions on bitch ass Eritrea. they deserve it with that hitler president they got. You have full UN mandate to bomb any part of Eritrea if it targets the regime. Long Live Africa & UN
In Dec. 2,1950, the UN resolution 390 (V), voted 46 to 10 to federate Eritrea with Ethiopia, against Eritreans demand for independence.
"From the point of view of justice, the opinions of the Eritrean people must receive consideration. Nevertheless, the strategic interests of the US in the Red Sea Basin and considerations of security and world peace make it necessary that Eritrea be linked with our ally, Ethiopia".
Oh wow, this is a good step, good job, now the people will learn to fight against Esayas who put them in this deep shit.........lol sorry for the people when still do not see the bad side of him
Just like the 190 UN resolution FAILED to force Eritreans to live under Ethiopian conquest, so will the 2010 UN resolution will FAIL to force Eritrans to succumb to the UN mafia.
ERITREAN NEVER SUCCUMB TO THE UN or ANYONE ELSE. Case closed.
@BahreNeGash The most famous cases of enforced disappearances are the members of the PFDJ ruling council who were arrested on September 18, 2001-the G-15-and the hundreds of other government officials and journalists who were detained alongside them. Eleven of the G-15 are still in incommunicado detention. Dozens more have been detained since. The level of paranoia by the government has reached such a level that, “people who present no risk to the security of the state are regularly persecuted.”
Al qaeda attempted to attack Eritrea years ago. Eritrea fought back and notified The US... They did nothing, soon after 9-11 happened. Its clear that Eritrea does NOT support terrorism! No one is dying due to the government in Eritrea; as a matter of fact, look up the crime rates (use American statistics if you don't believe me) They reported that Eritrea has EXTREMELY low crime rates which would prove that the people are more than satisfied with the Gov. The Sanctions need to be removed TODAY!
The Eritrean people and Eritrean government don't support terrorism. Eritrea is the only country has peace in the horn. Why would the UN impose these unjust sanctions? Don't you have to have evidence to impose something like this? It's called Neocolonialism. They don't want a country like Eritrea who depend on no foreign powers to be self sufficient and an example to other African countries. This is not about national security. Eritrea has never supported terrorism. We have to speak up.
waaaw ah! what a so many african gorrila and slaves u see in the world working for only and only for theier business discriminating who is in the right way!!
but we stood also since 1950 until today , we are ERitreans not any other nationals!
this world unreal critism is like a disease for us, and us for every thing we knows to find a solution, also for this, WE WILL; our DNA is RED; YELLOW; GREEN and BLUE!!
This sunction is long over due. The Eritrean gov't is led by a lunatic person who is not only working day and night to distabilize the horn but also destroying the basic human rights of the Eritrean people. I think the UN should further go ahead and demand that the Eritrean governemtn stop massacring and arresting its own people. The people of Eritrea deserve a basic human rights.

Fifty years later the same UN is sanctioing Eritrea.
One wonders,,,
