2. If anything i would argue that muslims follow Jesus more than the Christians themselves. Jesus never ate pork, discouraged alcohol (deuteronomy ch41 v8). Muslims dont do none of that. I have read the majority Greek texts, nowhere do I see "Today, I have begotten you" is this guy making up his own Greek text? there is one manuscript (Bezae) that has "Today" obviously trying to match psalm 2:7, versus all the others which don't have it. The gentleman never insisted Pauline authorship for both, but merely asserted (correctly) that both are Pauline documents.

Paul was neither an eyewitness or an earwitness to the ministry of Jesus. He plainly admitted this in Galatians 1:12. He had neither heard Jesus proclaim the Gospel, nor did he accompany Jesus during his earthly ministry.

Common scholar bias regarding Paul vs Jesus followers can be cleared up by reading the NT in its context. Acts 9 continues saying: "Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus. 28 So Saul stayed with them and moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord."

@jamool2009 actually, there's probably more than just trinity in Islam. Some silly thing called royal plurality. It's used to explain the reason for there being 'we' and 'us' in various places when allah's speaking, but as with most things religious, only the definition that appeals to Islam is used. Not the one that says that allah's using it clearly means allah's actions are a group effort.

@chine62 With all due respect, Muhammad did not deny Jesus as son of God, God does this through his holy book the Quran. Muhammad did not write the Quran, the angel Gabriel gave him the message and he gave it to humanity. Chapter 6 of the Quran clearly states that Jesus was not crucified but rather saved from it.

One of the Christian textual critics professors at Bob Jones University told this to a young minister in training after he found a lot of contradictions in the Bible. He told the young man that the book started off as an original that has been altered by many people since that time, some by accident and by others on purpose. As muslims we believe in the verbatim word of God, the Quran is the only book that maintained its original form.

In fact the Jews refused to enter Pilate's Court lest they be unclean; he condescended by going out to meet them cos he wanted to pls them. He asked them to chose between Jesus and Barrabas; just to pls them again and they chosed Barrabas. He finally conceeded, cos a riot was breaking out. In Luke 13 he killed many Jews at once.Why would the death of one carpenter bother him?

2. If anything i would argue that muslims follow Jesus more than the Christians themselves. Jesus never ate pork, discouraged alcohol (deuteronomy ch41 v8). Muslims dont do none of that. I have read the majority Greek texts, nowhere do I see "Today, I have begotten you" is this guy making up his own Greek text? there is one manuscript (Bezae) that has "Today" obviously trying to match psalm 2:7, versus all the others which don't have it. He is cherry picking all the obscure, apocryphal and gnostic heresies to make his point. In any case; "today", can be eternity, as Isaiah 43:13, which is one eternal day, an everlasting now.

But then again, the only option left is to either twist Paul's own words or call him a false teacher. Either way, it does not compute with the biblical evidence.

Paul was neither an eyewitness or an earwitness to the ministry of Jesus. He plainly admitted this in Galatians 1:12. He had neither heard Jesus proclaim the Gospel, nor did he accompany Jesus during his earthly ministry.

Common scholar bias regarding Paul vs Jesus followers can be cleared up by reading the NT in its context. Acts 9 continues saying: "Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus. 28 So Saul stayed with them and moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord."

A final point I would raise is that the central truth of the original prophets was NOT submission anywhere or that there is a unitary god (for example, both baal & molech were claimed as [names] for god). @jamool2009 actually, there's probably more than just trinity in Islam. Some silly thing called royal plurality. It's used to explain the reason for there being 'we' and 'us' in various places when allah's speaking, but as with most things religious, only the definition that appeals to Islam is used. Not the one that says that allah's using it clearly means allah's actions are a group effort.

Muhammad did not write the Quran, the angel Gabriel gave him the message and he gave it to humanity. Chapter 6 of the Quran clearly states that Jesus was not crucified but rather saved from it.

One of the Christian textual critics professors at Bob Jones University told this to a young minister in training after he found a lot of contradictions in the Bible. He told the young man that the book started off as an original that has been altered by many people since that time, some by accident and by others on purpose. As muslims we believe in the verbatim word of God, the Quran is the only book that maintained its original form.

Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism had angelic revelations just as Muhammed and he said many things. God knew this would happen and warned us before time. Muhammed was deceived.

In fact the Jews refused to enter Pilate's Court lest they be unclean; he condescended by going out to meet them cos he wanted to pls them. He asked them to chose between Jesus and Barrabas; just to pls them again and they chosed Barrabas. He finally conceeded, cos a riot was breaking out. In Luke 13 he killed many Jews at once.Why would the death of one carpenter bother him?

In ur gospels, Jesus was NEVER a threat to the Roman authority. Never happened a court of law proves a defendant NOT guilty then gives him the death penalty. @jamool2009 What question didn't I answer? Pilate alllowed them to decide who to release according to their custom. He wanted to please the Jewish leaders in honour of Passover. Didn't you see the game of the Jews? On their own they accused Jesus of claiming to be the Son of God. When they got to Pilate it turned political; they painted Him an enemy of Rome, saying if Pilate released Him he wasn't Caesar's friend: Read it. However, I'm glad u at least believe Jesus died. Muhammed denied it.

@chine Again, you are avoiding my point. A man asked a clear good question. Jesus gave a clear OLD answer. As a MINIMUM, he told him to obey God's laws (Jesus couldn't recall them all). We could stop there but the man has done his min work, so Jesus told him to do MORE to be perfect and have more later on. Also, socially Jesus asked him to give to the poor because the 10 Comm. didn't say anything about it. Again, NOTHING about Jesus' blood as a requirement to be saved.

The record of John barely made it to the canon. Paul's gospel was long available BEFORE the 4 gospels, so Paul's theology must be accommodated.Your scholars have proven that the scribes were dishonest in changing the text. Compare pre-1952 KJV with post-1952 KJV. How many changes did they make to have RSV? 300. How can u trust such people?

Peter lived with Jesus and He testified to the deity of Jesus, saying they never followed cunningly devised fables but were eyewitnesses of the Majesty of Jesus. 2 Pet1:16. This is not Paul speaking, this is Peter, the same one who called Jesus the Son of the Living God. John lived with Jesus and was the closest of His followers. In Rev 1:18 he also described the deity of Jesus. This is not Paul, either.
