  • He spoke so well, well done Hugh!

  • SOOO nice to follow this mission, and hopefuly he succed to change A LOT - !! Thank you Hugh.

  • With population increasing I think if all meat was free range there wouldn't be enough food for everyone.

  • I love these kinds of TV people who "genuinely" make a difference.

  • great work Hugh :o)

  • tes*kin*co are HORRIBLE, i dont even consider them a supermarket, they are a different ballgame altogether, only my opinion. we have no choice about where they build their stores, their air miles are appaulingling, their packaging is appauling, their ethics just dont exist. i would rather drink from a river running right outside a nuclear powerplant than eat ANYTHING they ever sold on their shelves. BOYCOTT

  • i was really drunk when i wrote that, i do mean it but wasnt worded very well. i dont consider tesco to be a supermarket, just parts of the business disguised as one

  • Tesco's are tossers. I am boycotting them as of yesterday. If their shareholders have no consciences then maybe their customers will. Hugh has done a good job by publicising the true greed and nastiness of Tesco.

  • I've decided to go back to Morrisons too, after seeing how Tesco treated him and how greedy they are. How much f*cking money do they need? Makes me sick.

  • I hate Tesco's,and refuse to shop there!

I have spoken to loads of their staff, who have been treated like dirt, and not paid overtime. They are also masons, and don't care about anything,or anybody,as long as they can shaft someone for more money.

They are also fundng "Big Brother RFID Tags"too!

Go to Morrisons, who stock UK5 Soil Association chicken.I'm not rich, but eat real chicken, and have eaten at "River Cottage".

  • You've eaten at River Cottage? :-D I'm so jealous! Please tell me what happened, what you ate, and was Hugh there? :-)

  • Yes,for my birthday,in August!

It was packed, but managed to get a table, outside. We had roast lamb, red wine, and a dessert, which are all locally sourced.

    Hugh was not in,as i asked,but Charley Boorman,was downstairs!

Well worth a visit,if your in the area!

    It's in Axminster.

  • Ooh I'd have still been happy to meet Charley Boorman! :-D I don't know what I'd say to him, just chat about the food probably. lol It sounds fantastic. :-) Sadly, I'm not in the area at all - I live in Devon - but I'm glad you had a good time. :-D

  • Hugh rocks! He doesn't put up with the nonsense of what Tesco says, their lying and secret-keeping. He's strong, conscientious and compassionate in what he does and says.
