very impressive, just curious, how much money did you have to invest to construct that? (if your willing to say)

Actually, it's more about the design time than money. This took a about a week to design, and it was printed and assembled in one day. Printing cost about $40.00 per book, at a local print shop. Of course, the per book cost would be much lower if mass produced.

Unfortunately, Blizzard turned down my proposal, so they'll only be seen here.

I proposed my flip book being a "Premium" item for SC2. I approached Blizzard about, no word back, yet. On a real basic level, it's nice collection of screenshots, 641 to to exact, Also, it, like any book, is available anytime, without a media player. And it would be a cool gift for a gaming buddy or friend. If it cost $5 or so, fans will buy it. Thanks for the comment, anyway. I like the honest feedback.

Yeah $5 is nothing I wouldn't pay more though. btw I knew you wouldn't need a media player lol I just said that time because that's how long the video of all the flippage was. Take that and multiply it by however many times someone flipped the book. Maybe I'll see it around, good luck.

I'm really not sure what your point is. Your suggestion might make for a better video, but my objective is to show the flip book in real time. If I could produce them you'd have the cool SC2 trailer to view any time without an media player of any kind. You know...as a book! Totally old school.

Well, I bet if you found this in a game store, you'd buy it. As long as people like to buy books, I have a good chance of selling my Flipz books. As far as "getting a life", I done pretty good professionally, an TV Emmy nomination, produced, directed and worked on an several animated series including Thundercats, Gargoyles, and Nascar Racers.

Nice! you worked on Gargoyles? that was a great show from my childhood. nah, i'm not a big spender so i wouldn't buy the flip book sry. but yea if u make money off those then sweet. I'm just a youngin in university going to work for NATO if my plans work out, a Prof. if they don't. Starcraft is the kick ass game I play when i'm bored in class.

Okay, if you don't like comic books, "art of.."books, or novelty books, my Dragonfly Game Flipz books won't float your boat. It really is "hands on" item, watching it on video doesn't do it full justice.

Thanks for kind comments. The Marine Figure at the beginning is an action figure from the first StarCraft game. I've had it a long time, 5 years or more. You may find it on Ebay.

Again, pass this video link on to your friends on Starcraft fan sites, and Blizzard Ent. I've sent two copies of the book to Nick Carpenter, the cinematic director, in hopes of getting have feedback and permission to produce this Game Flipz book.

Wow, very impressive. I liked that part where he's like "Hell, it's about time", when you were flipping the pages, and the marine actually says it. That part rocked!
