No regrets. Would not want to go back. It's what I was after since childhood. Had no idea that this thing existed. Yet somehow, something drove me, like an inner task master, pushing me on no matter how tough things got. And I was willing to physically die in the process. It seems to me that it takes that kind of a commitment because enlightenment is indeed dying while living. But most people are not after this. They are after a better life - the exact opposite from what it takes to die!
I like your awaken clothes, they look cool and comfortable. But I have just been looking up stuff about enlightenment for no other reason then see a cool picture on google, following a link, which I followed to this and so on and so fourth, it's been about three hours of this. And your speaking and explaination of this is the best so far, you seem so sincere, hope its real. But I have a question How does becoming enlightened help anything?
Great question! Thank you for it. The answer is: IT DOES'T! This is where most seekers are completely off base - while having no idea they are. Almost all seekers are after something they think enlightenment is when indeed, it's not that at all. Most seekers want a better life, better relationships, better health, better this, better that, plus more of this and more of that. Somehow, this idea is circulating that enlightenment will give unending bliss, peace. love and a problem-free life.
continuing: Not so! When the I goes with enlightenment, problems don't disappear. They're seen as programming, still needing to be dealt with. My sense is most people don't want enlightenment - but what it stands for. Feel that many people use seeking to distract/avoid/hide from their life and its problems. Enlightenment does not help with this. Anyone hoping for a gain is not after enlightenment but something else. Find out what you really want so you don't waste your precious time/resources.
continuing: So much confusion exists as far as what enlightenment is, what it does, what it's good for and why anyone would want it. Enlightenment provides no benefit to the I. Program or grid free living is where the juice is at and what I think most people are really after. Jed Mc Kenna calls it Human Adulthood. Most 'enlightenment' teachers don't seem to talk about this distinction which I feel is too bad as many people hanker after enlightenment when it's probably not at all what they want.

Also, do you ever regret becoming enlightened or being awake? Do you ever wish you could go back to being oblivious, to crawling?

Thank you very much for your comment. Not sure what the 'awakened' look is but I sew most of the clothes I wear, have since childhood and still do.

Is that the kind of outfit you wear when you're 'awakened' and you want to look like it?
