Absolutely, many plugs work great for speckled trout. Anything that looks like a mullet or baitfish all the way to shrimp and eels. The is always finding the school of speckled trout. Once that is done, many lures work very well. Many times we incorrectly associate a lures ability by not being on a school of speckled trout or sea trout.
