got mine today :D april 09 model and the first thing thats happening is that bloody pipe is coming off ! mechanic in my grandas suzuki dealer took it for a spin and it hit 50 easy with out any go fast (ish) mods :)

So whats the problem with wearing full leathers? Iv just bought a rs50, have the armoured jacket, boots, pants and gloves. Its not the fact if you fall off, most people dont come off part from if its very poor conditions, its the other idiots out in the road who pull out of junctions without seeing you. And at the end of the day if your doing 70 on this bike and come off, you will know about it. He will be the one getting up, those of you wont dont wear protective gear wont be.

i haev a rs 50, i wear textile jacket, leather trousers, and Aplinestar boots. Mine is partially de restricted and will do 43mph at 10,000RPM where its limited. I weigh 8 and a half stone. I wear a hgh vis. vest. This guy full leathers, is spot on ! You would wish you was wearing them when you come off at 40mph in jeans and cut all your knees open... Be safe by wearing as much protection as you can. Bike bikes or small... :) Nice one George.

Hayesyboy927. I've never fell off my gpr50 either and i've had mine nearly a year now, but i still wear my boots and textile jacket when going to work (keeps me warm more than anything). I'm not arsed if you wear protective gear or not but it's a bit tight taking the piss out of people who do.

You can still get up to like 40mph on a restricted 50cc! If u hit the road at 40 it would rip ur skin off! You need summat strong! Plus leathers looks great.
