Someone has now told me that the nearby grit bin was empty not because Bucks CC hadn't filled it, because they had the night before the snow. Apparently immediately after the bin was filled someone with a 4x4 drove up and completely emptied the grit bin into the back of his car and took the grit to clear his driveway !!****??$%£$£%^&&* :(

Yes, he was OK. You can see him walking off in part 2 of the video.
