@s9304 If you have reinstalled Windows, you may need to reinstall DirectX drivers. You probably haven't corrupted the video card. Just need to install the drivers. Search Microsoft for details

@s9304 To learn about Direct X, search google for Directx and visit the wikipedia link in the search returns.

If you are using a fairly recent version of Sony Movie Studio and running a recent version of Windows, your computer should be DirectX compatible - unless you have a weird video card.

I thought the voice search was pretty cool. I tested it with the word "floccinaucinihilipilification­" and was very surprised when it got the word right. It's incredible where technology is going.

@AlexA1ex I'd hope not! haha But I find that if you say it too fast or not clearly enough, the program picks it up as several separate words instead of one big one.
