@iappzone I have it working on Logic Pro but it takes ages to assign and program. I actually downloaded a preferences file from a forum that had them all pretty much assigned. In Logic if you press Apple and L it'll come up with a midi learner. You click on say the fader in Logic and move the fader on the surface, super easy
nop never they both can be used as controller for logiq, ableton etc.. but the apc has way more knobs and father. otherwise it depends onwho is playing some prefer the uc some the apc. but for me the apc is banging
the uc 33 as 24 knobs and apc as 16, and they have same amout of faders which is 8, but you can't compare, the apc price is about 400 euros which is about the twice the price of the UC33...
But i agree with you, apc is baging, and is much more resistant!
no its an controller only device... just like a normal keyboard for your pc or mac... any effects or sounds come from your DAW or Dj-ing Software ... Like NI´s Traktor ...
No of course not, its a midi device. You can controll your computer, so if you want to use an effect, youll have to have the effects in you computer (in ableton for instance).
Not all buttons can be used to send midi notes. Preset buttons can not be used, only assignable buttons can be used. I made a preset for myself, with normal channells with 3 band eq, and then i made 2 identical audio chanel to wich i send my channels. Audio chanenels are loaded with effects. The best thing you can do is to map the effects. Like reverb to one knob, delay to one and so on. Only thing that is hard to fix with one knob is delay ( if you want to change the steps and so on.

I just bought a UC-33e, I have tried to set it up in Ableton, but can't get it to work. Do I have to map it manually?
ballefras 4 months ago
@ballefras You can either, hit midi learn in ableton or even better....read the manual! :)

Cmd+L, and it's all assignable! works more then great
Because Logic is very smart - If you assign all 8 faders and knobs to your logic mixer.
It will automatically adjust from channel 1-8, 9-16, 17-25.. etc..

So during a set, can u assign a knob for the effects as well? Or are the knobs on the UC-33 strictly for the cross-fader, volume, etc.?
afglbc7 2 years ago
Yes, you can assign a knob for the effects. You can even use a midi controller just to control effects. Its completely up to you.

Thanks bud, that really helps out...

Salut, y a un truc que je comprends pas : pourquoi tu touches sans cesse un potard alors qu'a part l'EQ 3 et le volume il n'y a rien à toucher ? :)
