I really don't know why Mega Man 6 went down so very bad it is probably the last Mega Man Series on NES but it still quite an Awesome game especially all those new Robot Master from different Country.
It's my second-least favourite of the NES Mega Mans also, so I guess I'm with the majority on it. I think the music is 2nd worst for the NES also, but I just want to say: it has Tomahawk Man's theme, which is one of my all-time favourite Mega Man musics... and that's saying a lot, considering these games are godlike in the music department.
Note: I think Mega Man 6 is an excellent console game, with good music. It's just that some of the other MMs are downright all-time Greats.

The people/robots living in the world of Megaman are pretty stupid in general.
First you got Light trusting Wily in 3, then this, then you got Megaman falling for the doll trap in 9, people not finding a cure for the Maverick Virus in generations, and then X8, where NGR could just do a mass fraud and did not.

I love the music in this game. You can tell they were trying really hard to impress people with some of the details they added. MM6 is one of my faves in the series but I think they needed a bit more originality concerning the bosses.

It's really amazing how it was just about the games back then. Granted the Mega Man NES series from 4-6 tried to trick us into thinking that someone else would send these bots to attack the world. But it always ended up to be Wily. IMO Mega Man 6 had the cheapest use of that "twist" for sure.

According to what has been said by Keiji Inafune, they had tried to make eight bosses in the first MM/RM gae but due to a combination of inexperienced Capcom staff and obsolete cartridge version technology, or a not powerful enough, as in therms of memory, cartridge, they scaled back the design to just six bosses. With Mega Man: Powered Up, they simply stuck in the two guys that they wanted (at least I think so, anyway) from the beginning and now they have 8 bosses.
Capcom got lazy after Mega Man 3 and didn't put much effort in the Mega Man series and started to concentrate on projects for the Super NES. Thus, Mega Man 6 was a poor effort...come on..MR.X?!?!?!!?!??!?!?!?!?
This is my favorite game in the classic series. I don't think it gets the recognition it deserves, because so many people are hyped over Mega Man 2 like it's some kind of god.

Megaman VI is nice for its music though the gameplay is worse than V (my favorite after I and III) and its predecessors. I mean, Megaman II and Megaman III had great music too, but for VI it is mostly of a different beat which is; sad, tired and reflective.
I know it was a long time ago that you posted this comment, but it's not true that Europe didn't get it. My brother own that game for his NES, and we're scandinavians. So we do have it in Europe.
if you mean you could get it from importing a US copy into europe then yes. But It was NEVER released in your region by Nintendo or Capcom the US was Lucky 6 even got a release there!
Don't worry about it it happens a lot on youtube oh you may also own a pirate version of the cart most of them are pretty easy to tell apart from the real thing but some can be awfully close to the offical cart. I remember when looking at a game store they had a pirate copy of Sonic 3-d blast and thought it was a offical cart. How did I know it was a fake simple it had no genesis stripe nor a sega seal of quality

This is my favorite game in the classic series. I don't think it gets the recognition it deserves, because so many people are hyped over Mega Man 2 like it's some kind of god.

Megaman VI is nice for its music though the gameplay is worse than V (my favorite after I and III) and its predecessors. I mean, Megaman II and Megaman III had great music too, but for VI it is mostly of a different beat which is; sad, tired and reflective.

Nintendo published this instead of capcom in North america and europe never saw it's release (funny that would mean it jumped from 5 to 7! in europe)

if you mean you could get it from importing a US copy into europe then yes. But It was NEVER released in your region by Nintendo or Capcom the US was Lucky 6 even got a release there!

Don't worry about it it happens a lot on youtube oh you may also own a pirate version of the cart most of them are pretty easy to tell apart from the real thing but some can be awfully close to the offical cart. I remember when looking at a game store they had a pirate copy of Sonic 3-d blast and thought it was a offical cart. How did I know it was a fake simple it had no genesis stripe nor a sega seal of quality
