I wanted to thank Dr. David Servan-Schreiber for his research and my life. I am cancer free!!! I posted several months ago that I had a mammogram and biopsy done, and I was concerned because of a history of cancer in my family. Back in 2009 I had a melanoma tumor removed from my chest along with Lymph Nodes. I have read and followed Dr. David Servan-Schreibers' Anti Cancer Book and the doctors cannot understand why the tumor didn't spread and stayed in situ? This diet & exercise works!!!
I have been reading your book, following your nutritional advice, and praying to God because I had a mammogram, and needed a biopsy. I have 2 sisters that died of cancer at the age of 38 and 47. In 2009 I had a malignant tumor melanoma on my chest and a lymph node removed. Thanks to your Anti Cancer Book and God my breast biopsy came out negative. Thank you Dr. Servan-Schreiber, you are an Angel. May God bless you!!
I recently found out I have Hodkins, I have no symptoms and it seems limited to my neck (I still need a catscan to confirm). I had it for at least 2 years and it appears to be very slow. Roughly 4 years ago I made radical changes to my lifestyle and I eat very well now and exercise routinely. I have to believe that if it wasn't for taking such good care of myself the last couple of years I might have been much worse off by the time I got my diagnosis.
David, your tape changed my view. Thank you so very much for that. I am empowered now to ask for what I want in my treatment and find a doctor to listen. When I look at your points, I have been someone that had been doing most of what you suggest...albeit not all. I will be adding the ones missing. I would love to be part of the research program you are doing. I will be starting treatment most likely next week or next. I live in Houston and was diagnosed at MDA.
Thanks ! I love what you're doing, thanks for informing us about things that are so important.
I'm really happy about your book. I am a personal trainer here in France and I am very concerned about food, as you said, we eat 3 times per day (at least), so we better watch what goes inside our bodies.
Most cancers are caused by vaccines, read about SV-40. The vaccines are not working fast enough so thats why we have the 24/7 military chemtrail operations.
I saw Dr. Servan-Schreiber give a 2 hour talk at UCLA tonight. He rocked my world! This video is an abbreviated version of what I heard. I was really impressed with how he made the scientific studies approachable and understandable, yet still cited them so you could go look them up yourself. Someone who's confident in their interpretation of the findings, shows you where they found the information!
@lvlyny66 Dr. Servan-Schrieber addressed that very topic tonight at UCLA. He made a couple of points (1)It's never diet alone. He showed research that was a "synergy" of lifestyle changes, including exercise, decreasing exposure to toxins & increasing exposure to sunlight (vitamin D). (2) He also addressed how physicians are not educated on the research, because it's no money-making pharmaceutical companies are flying them out to Florida to educate them about nutrition & lifestyle changes.
Definitely check out his blog and website. Maybe he'll be speaking near you sometime in the future. As they introduced him last night, they mentioned that he was donating his time, so he didn't actually get paid for speaking . . . he seems very passionate about his message and dedicated to educating people and professionals. His book "Anticancer" is supposedly even more indepth than his talk.
Happy Thanksgiving. Once again you have brought me to tears.( The first time was at SIO-NYC) I have been so affected by you . Your inscription to me in your book , where you recognized and acknowledged my powerful voice, life force and smile has inspired me to follow your example. Your impact on me and others is a gift. I hope to follow in your footsteps and be a voice for others. the conference has changed my life and I am moving forward to be an advocate for LIFE. Your friend Susan
Thanks David- The information in this presentation is so sensible, so simple - Since cancer is a life-changing event anyway -- your guidelines would be a wise life change to make. 12 year survivor
Blackberries, Green Peppers, Red Peppers, Strawberries, Red Onions, Potatoes... so good and so helpful in boosting your body's ability to fight disease.
@vighstertravel Tonight in his talk at UCLA, he recommend always consulting with a medical professional about your specific needs, but he did recommend the following: fish oil, probiotics, and cumin/tumeric.
I believe nutrition, exercise and meditation are key ingredients to a healthy life. I recommend this book to anyone who would like to improve the quality of life. Excellent! Thank-you Dr. Servan-Schreiber. There are no coincidences--you were meant to write this book!
Posted this on our company YouTube page and Facebook page. Excellent, excellent, book, and excellent video too! Contact me if there is any volunteer work I can do, or if there is any way I can assist you. Paul Martin/Director of Consumer Experience--Skye Club
Great video and great book. However, the statistics about the Western world and cancer are as follows: 1 out of 3 women will develop cancer and 1 out of 2 men will develop cancer. This doesn't necessarily mean they will die of it, too.
I wish everyone would read this book. It will change a lot concerning your life style and your daily habits. In a positive & healthy way, of course.
beautiful! thank you - could not be put across any better - clear and simple - I will send this to many folk I know and hope they to share it.............good work.
This is an excellent video clip. Thank you very much for your great intent and effort to share and to help! I enjoy very much reading your "The Instinct to Heal" - I'm particularly impressed by you painstakingly to include the huge amount of relevant references. I would strongly recommend this book to anybody who is interested in living a healthy life. Very best wishes! :)
Congratulations for the wanderful work. I'm loving the book and it's everything I believe!!!! In prevention. We are actors of our healthy and not passive.
