I haven't done birthday nails no. The only design I could ever think of for that was a birthday cake and its been done so many times on youtube already. Pixiepolish just did them, go take a look.

If it was my birthday I'd either do my Cherryade nail art or maybe my Indian Nail Art videos, but really any design that you can do well and that looks good on your nails and makes you happy will work.

@penguinluv03 You can use polish but I used FolkArt acrylic paint, cause you can just wipe if off and start again if you need to without disturbing the polish underneath. Just make sure the paint is thin enough, many are too thick (add water) ^_^ Oh, and seal with topcoat or it washes off

Where did you get your paint brush ? :) I bought some from eBay but I feel like they don't paint right, or I might just suck at making designs either way :P haha oh and I love your videos I've been meaning to make my first tutorial using your designs but I haven't had a chance to :P

@younghowl Same thing happened to me, I bought a really cheap set of 15 nail art brushes from ebay and the results were terrible. I thought I must suck at nail art, but then I bought a set of 3 small brushes from vivalanails.co.uk and I was instantly better at it!  I also use the teeny tiny brushes from the art store when I paint with acrylic paints (like in this video).

I'd be happy to accept a video response if you make a tutorial trying out one of my designs ^_^

@1054819 I like FolkArt the best, and I get it from a little art shop in a village nearby, or on ebay, for about £1.80 a bottle. It lasts for years

witch is beter acrylic paint or polish ?

@MissMichaelaaOx Hmm.....acrylic paints can peel off if you're not careful, but they're so great in other ways. You can wipe them off when you make a mistake and not ruin the polish underneath, they're so much cheaper, and you can get it all over your skin and it just washes off. It also doesn't smudge when you put topcoat on.

So I prefer acrylic paints tbh, just make sure you water them down enough.

@JazminFlowers Water when I'm using acrylic paint, and when I paint with polish I use nail polish remover pads, just wipe the brushes on them, they work great :)
