i certainly hope you're not refering to bulgaria as a "fake republic". we are the second oldest country in europe, right after you greeks. of course, some people believe that since thracians' genes actually dominate the modern bulgarian gene pool, we should have the rightful title of oldest ciuntry in europe and maybe the world.

Although my country had not the best relation with yours at WW I and WW II, I think most Bulgarians respect Greece's history and achievements. Bulgarian people recognize the Greekness of Alexander, don't they?

WW1 and 2 weren't anything personal, it was just that the germans presented us with the best plan for retaking our lost territories. plus, had we not sided with them in WW2, we probably would have ended up like you, taken over. i do believe alexander was greek, no matter where he was born. i think a man is built out of his beliefs and actions, not by where he was born. alexander was most certainly greek.

that being said, i do believe that macedonia belongs to bulgaria. there is no hiding that they're culture and language today is in fact bulgarian. 2000 yrs ago, they might have been greek, but after 681AD they've been bulgarian and thats what they are today. i dont know whar case the serbians make for macedonia, but i dont think they have much. greece and bulgaria have the only plausible theories and i cant help but lean the bulgarian way
