Spam and drifting can be overcome by countering, I myself can't be drifted cuz ill counter if you do. MT is the best at that anyways, faster then shao and much more reliable transitions into grabbing. Shao's good. But not better then MT. Shao can't destroy ppl good with certain scrolls.
I dont think shaolin's worth the 29k...not that special, no charged hits (guard breaker), no juggle, no special grabs/counters like judo and sambo, and no special (C+Z)

PKP combo knocks over fences. Only other carat scrolls that can do that from the front are MT, Jujitsu, and DM. Jujitsu's slow, and MT doesn't have as many combos as Shao. DM is 41k carats.
uh, shaolin's K-P hit is slow...and there's always kobudo, murekwon, shidokan, ninjutsu and muay thai's better than shaolin in many ways. Who cares if MT doesn't have as many combos, that's better. Doesn't get you confused as easily. Now that's fast plain and simple.

its not the scroll its the player. drifting is good if the opponent keeps counting drift then grab. mix it up.
