No Its got decent specs and has quite a few peripheral and USB connections. Even a Blu Ray player. I think this is a nice return to a CLASSIC design. Something thats been sadly lacking in recent years. The Vic 20 C64 keyboards were beautifully designed. All electronics are expensive at first but their prices eventually come down.

@summer20105707 Huh? What's your point? I didn't even touch the tech specs. But you're definitely mistaken here: it isn't the electronics here that's expensive - it's cheapo commodity electronics that got cheap decades ago already, being sold in a ridiculously overpriced package. While I agree the VIC is pleasant to look at there's nothing that's been designed by C-USA (not even the logo) - it's just a cheapo keyboard PC made in China which only has analogue VGA for video output.

Granted the hardware could use some modernizing. But the LOOK IS TIMELESS. Especially these days when PC's are usually shitty looking square boxes. I think its at least a duo core processor if I'm not mistaken. But damn it I love the look. I wish they'd get back to designs like these. PC's are like most cars these days, most tend to look very similar and lack originality.

Wow....... A wopping 1.8Ghz dual core Intel Atom CPU with a on board nvidia graphic chip and 4 gig's of ram, probably DDR 2. Sounds like it's not much better than a real Commodore 64. Whata P.O.S. Better not cost over 200 bucks!

No, not much better than the original C64 just comparing the numbers. Only 1800 times the processing speed and 65000 times the RAM oh and assuming it will be delivered with only a 500Gb HDD it will have only 3.2 million times the storage capacity compared to the old floppy disk drive..

Hey Linux dude, it would be nice if it would be a cheap acessable Linux box. Linux is there so they make extra money (check prices $300-$900). Major joke with abuse of Commodore and Amiga name is that Commodore and Amigas (old and new) don`t support Windows, even all PPC Amigas can run Windows.

The C=64 was my first computer. Hell, this new C=64 is better than the PC I'm using now. This new C=64 has a blu-ray player, my PC doesn't have that. I'd buy it. I hope it has a C=64 emulator.

im interested but looks a bit unnecessary, did it really need a win 7 os with thats spec a dual boot with a commodore os and some form of linux or optional XP would be enough and keep the price affordable. there is no way im paying £360 for this spec for a bit extra you can get an ipad jailbreak it and play portable emulated c64 games
